Well, that was a BaD month

Well, that was a pretty dissappointing month if you ask me.  I didn't officially finish a single game and I gave up on BaD.  That is not to say that I have been unproductive.

I finished Guacamelee to my satisfation.  By that I mean that I got to the final boss, became frustrated and gave up.  I know that giving up is not the best thing in the world, but sometimes it is better to cut your losses.

I haven't played videogames as much as I would typically like in the month of February.  That isn't to say that I haven't played anything this past month.  I spent the first week of February getting frustrated with Guacamelee and then the middle two weeks with Rune Factory 4.  That game is going to become a massive time sink, so I think that I will take my time with it and come back to it more often but in smaller doses.  I have been inspired to play Alundra thanks to Backlogger's Anonymous.  I have put about 4 hours into it at this point and have enjoyed myself so far.  I will most likely be spending most of my March alternating between both Alundra and Rune Factory.

March looks to be one of the biggest months for gaming.  There are plenty of big releases coming out and plenty to be excited about.  I will be picking up MGS:  GZ, inFamous and Shovel Knight.  That isn't to say that I am not interested in FFX, South Park or Dark Souls II.  I just know that I won't be able to get to playing them anytime soon.  Plus, a small part of me is hoping that there will be a PS4 port of Dark Souls II.

During the month of February my PS4 saw little to no action.  I hate to say it, but I think that I only booted it up to download Super Motherload and Outlast.  I am certain that March will be a completely different story...  of course it is too soon to tell.

Metal Gear!    Im buying GZ and I wanted to buy Splinter Cell Blacklist but I hate to get started on a new game only to abandoned it Mar 18.  Since I am on a Blackout for MGS GZ I am curious...will GZ have multiplayer?

I haven't heard anything about multiplayer.

I'm definitely looking forward to Shovel Knight. I finished Guacamelee! but can understand why you'd get frustrated. That last boss was pretty tough.

I found Javier Jaguar to be troublesome and actually ended up paying for the DLC characters.  Juanita helped me out a lot.  She has stronger punches at the cost of her throwing distance.

I may come back to the game later, but I just lost my patience with it for the time being.

Is Shovel Knight not on Steam? I don't see it in my search.

it should be, but it comes out on the 31st of March.  It was part of the Greenlight program.

February was a decent month for me. I finished two games and made it all the way through BaD, and I resorted to posting a picture as a filler blog only once! I didn't get to play as much as I'd hoped, but all those blogs took up a lot of time. I don't think there's anything in March that I'll be getting right away, but I made quite a few purchases in the last couple weeks, so I'm covered on stuff to play, that's for sure.

February was pretty uneventful for me, which is a good thing in my book. Made it through BaD for the first time, all the while playing through Bravely Default. I thought it would impede my progress but I'm glad it didn't.

Yeah that last boss in Guacamelee was a real doozy. I beat him eventually but not until after many a rage moment. No shame in letting it go I reckon if you got what you wanted out of it.

atleast you tried so that's all good.

I really didn't find myself playing much games given how I used my free time to try to keep up with BaD along with comments. So far I've actually bought more games that I've yet to play in part of my birthday celebrations. Hopefully you can give more love to your PS4 soon.
