Sony came through with the refund

I got my $19.99 back from accidentally buying Deadly Premonition twice. I have now taken my credit card off my account so that I can't do that again.

So now I have money in my PSN wallet again. I was on this morning and almost bought Tales of Symphonia since it is available on its own for $19.99. I don't really want another copy of the second game because I have the Wii version and it's not very good.

Then I thought I'd get the season passes for The Wolf Among Us and Walking Dead Season 2 since both of those are on sale this week at $8.99 and $10.49 respectively. Dragon's Crown is also on sale for $17.49.

Maybe I'll just hang onto my money for now.

At least they were reasonable and realized that I wouldn't buy the same game twice on purpose. LOL

I find it odd that you were even allowed to purchase a game twice.  I thought that they had it set up that it was nearly impossible to do that.

not if there are two versions of the game. In this  case there was a regular and an ultimate version. I put the regular version in my cart and later realized the ultimate was the same price. This was a few days later so I'd forgotten there was anything in the cart. I checked out without reading the screen so it charged me for both.

Then they should have stopped offering the regular edition

I went with Tales of Symphonia. Now watch, they'll give it to us free in a couple of months.

Well, in the end it was my fault for not paying attention so I'm glad they saw fit to forgive my stupidity. :D

You can take your credit card off of PSN? I wish I could do that with Xbox 360. It seems they want to lock you out of your own information. I can't even find where you can change automatic renewals.

there must be a way. I know I took my credit card info off about 3 year ago so that they couldn't renew my Gold subscription. I don't remember how I did it though.

They just make it hard to do unlike Netflix which is super easy to change anything. You can put your account on hold, cancel it (and they save your data for a year) or change your membership. I wish everyone did it the way Netflix does.

Awesome news! I know I've said it, but I'll say it again, PSN cards are the way to go. It's a shame there is no safeguard to protect Sony and their users from buying a digital copy of game again.

Wow. Taht's amazing that you actually got a refund. I was betting they wouldn't give it to you given how they constantly stress that "no refunds" are given for digital titles. Good to see they wil offer exceptions.
