Good News, Bad News

A series of give and take, though in my case it's more take than give.

On the good side of things, I put the finishing touches on the final boss of Bravely Default and wrapped up the main story. I'll take a little break from the game to catch up on some of the books I've been meaning to read but I'll head back into it to tie up some loose ends as far as sidequests go. I also got an almost full eight hours of sleep last night, so that's something. Still feel pretty tired, but maybe that'll change in time.

As far as the bad side goes, I won't go into it too in depth, but there's one thing I can say. If there's ever an emergency situation, never hand me the phone. For whatever reason there's something about my voice that just convinces the person on the line that I'm lying or otherwise wasting their time. It's happened before and I just don't understand it at all, which is all the more frustrating.

Hope everyone's having an okay day today.

Do you happen to remember how Nick said to remove double following thingies? I'm double following you, and while you're awesome, the inbox is easier to manage if I only follow people once.

Full 8 hours isn't necessarily ideal for everyone, I've always heard in the range of 6-8 is where most young adults at least should ideally be, but that's a lot better than 4 or 5, which is what I got today ... now give me back my sleep cycle, and stop switching off. lol Actually, I was really energized during my work out today, so maybe that's the way to go. Except maybe 6, not 4 and 5, cause the whoosh noise/dizziness I get moving my eyes too fast and headache from tiredness are a bit much.

Sounds like your voice is either too comically anxious sounding or too deadpan, which is the problem I have sometimes. Luckily, my deadpan reaction to stupid shit college kids do just made dispatchers laugh and still send someone (cause it was college, so they believed me) when I worked in Residence Life. I think they should be required to take your words at face value and just fine you if you really are joking. Maybe they've had problems with too many actual jokesters though. Who knows?

Sorry, I don't recall what he said. Definitely a problem.

I can relate with the emergency situations except I become a mumbling fool.

Good to read that you took down the final boss. I say take a little break, get some reading in before you jump into the sidequests. I found that if I take a little break in games I seem to find things I missed before.

time to give things a rest with BD it would seem.

I have that same problem when I try to tell people not do so something, then they end up doing it. Not sure if it's because I'm not convicing enough or if the universe wants me to laugh at other people's stupidity.
