I'm suffering from post BaD syndrome.

I somehow feel like I'm slacking off because I'm not blogging every day or looking for panda pics.

On the gaming front it's mostly Bravely Default. I'm still working on chapter 4 and my save tells me I've been playing for over 80 hours. It's definitely not accurate considering that it's been carried around in a pocket or left on the kitchen table running while I did other stuff but it's still a shitload of hours to be only half way through the game.

I'm also trying to complete the Sandshroud Ruins in Tales of Graces F but I'm stuck on an eleth  switch puzzle which I tried to solve for over an hour yesterday before shutting down. I'm usually good at these things but I'm totally missing the trick on this one.

So there, I've blogged. That's my conscience clear for now.

you don't have to be BaD to post panda pics!  Tongue Out

Bravely Default seems like a lot of fun.  I really need to catch up on games.  My game this month though is FFX which I've been waiting for.

Which puzzle is it, Peter? I probably won't remember how to solve it, but I'm pretty good at finding solutions on the internet Laughing.

It's from the Sandshroud Ruins which can only be accessed after you get the Amarcian Key. There are switches on the floor and you have to use them to control the flow of Eleth in order to open a door at the other side of the room.

This room had Red, Yellow and Blue Eleth switches at one end of the room. If you get two colours flowing through one switch it changes the colour e.g. Red and Blue makes Purple, Yellow and Blue make Green.

If you accidentaly get three colours going through one switch the whole room resets and you have to start again.

Ugh, I know what you mean. I meant to post an OCR Spotlight blog today (it's Wednesday!) but I couldn't muster up the energy or willpower or something. It's like a BaD reaction.

As for leaving things on while doing other things, my wife does that and sometimes ends up with bloated play times like that.

So that's a no to joining me in MaD, I take it? Tongue Out lol

If there's one thing I hope the Google and Facebook spy archives never release about me, it's how many hours of my life I spent doing something non-productive in front of a screen.

I've left BD running a few times while doing other stuff, I should've left it in sleep mode to collect SP but there were times I just couldn't be bothered to do it. Which is my excuse as to why I have such a high play time.

Leaving it in sleep mode for 8 hours to gain 1 SP is a bit much.

Yeah it is, which is why I use it as sparingly as possible. My brother uses SP a lot when fighting certain bosses, so he's just gotten into the habit of leaving his XL in sleep mode overnight. Hopefully for the sequel, the wait time is reduced to a more managable amount.

I hadn't touched Bravely Default in weeks.  I'm seriously thinking about starting Graces f.  I put it in my PS3 last night and watched the intro movie a few times.  I didn't actually start the game though.

YOu'd think after blogging for so long you'd want to take a break. That's something I usually do after my octoberween blog maddness. going to have to kick the habit somehow.
