So I woke up, got my car back with a ride from a friend, worked in my office a bit, went to The Lego Movie with an old friend, decided to go to a taco place I'd heard about but never tried called The Rusty Taco on the way to work out, because tacos played a key role in the movie, found out the campus rec center closed early for Spring Break today, texted the friend I went to the movie with, who invited me to Chili's with her and my ex-gf, ate at Chili's and talked with them for a bit, then came back to my office to eat the rest of my Rusty Taco meal that was left unfinished by the call to Chili's, then came back to the office and had one of the DJs help me get my Mexican Coke open without a bottle opener, as he frequently visits Mexico himself and wanted me to enjoy the real sugar used in it, and then started watching the installment of The Cinema Snob's The Random Butter Series where he and his friend talk about Cats and the recent Oscars, which is currently paused, and now I'm back in my office about to do the rest of my coding of my professor's advertisements, as well as some things I want to get done around the station that will prove to be long projects, after commenting where I need to anyway.

I played a bit of Dawn of Sorrow and beat one boss, but the boss made of crows or ravens or whatever black bird directly after him is still beating me. My fortune cookie on backloggery suggested some Bloody Roar:Primal Fury, but I was unable to get to it today, due to being away from my apartment, which is how I like it after a hectic week of working with technology and/or staring at a screen indoors making phone calls.

I wonder if they have a Guiness World Record for longest run on sentence I could enter the first part of this blog into.

EDIT: Keep forgetting. Here's all the inspiration you need:

Everything is Awesome!

Everything has context! ... with a demotivational comment on the current state of the United States economy, the problem of inflation, societal homogeneity, and a Brave New World-esque depiction of humanity gleefully submitting to "The Man" and "The System" at the end!

I want to see that movie.  Hope you enjoyed your tacos.

It was only one taco. Much spicier than American chains, cause it was an actual Mexican-run place. That might have been the green sauce I asked for, though.

Their tacos look way different than average American ones, too.

That's the weird thing about that theme song. I want to sing it a lot but it's tinged with irony as it's the song that keeps him happy in a roboticly uncreative world.

Oh yea, I think Rusty Taco is in the urban dictionary. I'll go look it up now... OH GOD! WHAT THE F*CK!

Did not know about the Urban Dictionary thing, so that's your own fault, I was talking about this place:

However, I did, after looking it up despite knowing better after Travis's goatse fiasco (don't look that up), choose this image and its text specifically for this context so that you could feel as sad and angry with the world as I do now that your mention of it made me curious enough to look it up Cry

I didn't look it up. It was a "goof". It just sounded like another term I did look up once because it was used in the TV show Stranger's With Candy. My friend and I looked it up just for giggles and nearly killed ourselves laughing. I'll spare you the term so that you don't feel the need to look THAT one up.

The LEGO movie is fantastic.

We have a Rusty Taco place in the same town where I live.

Have you ever tried Fuzzy Tacos?

In one of your last blogs, you talked about not being Batman or something.  I don't know what kind of superhero I would be like.  OK bye.

I have tried Fuzzy's tacos, yes. I consider the two places about on par as far as I can tell, really.

The more I hear about it, the more I want to see The LEGO movie. Unfortunately I don't have the cash to spare, so I'll have to settle for when it hits DVD or something.

Honestly, it's one I would not have minded cathcing on DVD to be honest, but it is damn funny and (maybe almost a bit too) fast-paced.

Dude, I loved the The Lego Movie.  I'm definitely buying that on BluRay.

To me, and I know this is blasphemy to some, it's like a funnier Toy Story. Granted, TS has advantages in a few other areas, but I can't say I belly laughed at any of those like I did with LEGO Movie.

Dude!  I told my wife after seeing the movie that I never laughed through the majority of a movie in a loooooong time.  I totally agree with you-- I found it funnier than the Toy Story films.  The Lego Movie just captured me in a way I didn't expect.  Then, the last 20 minutes of the films totally blew my mind the way everything came around full circle.

It was a thouroughly told story.  I came away more satisfied than I expected.

Authentic Mexican food is very rare in Maine, but we have plenty of places that sell Mexican Coke, strangely enough. I can think of only one place that comes close to real Mexican food, and that's in Portland. I miss being able to walk down there, they have these really yummy pork tacos with pineapple salsita. Damn, now I want tacos!

Carniceria's sell the Mexican Coke, if you have one locally. I buy them every once in a while. Gotta love Mexican food. My friends and I have a local hole in the wall that has some awesome food...and I'm hungry.

EVERYTHING IS AWESOME!

I think I might be the one person that isn't that big a fan of the song. I like it, but it's not something I'd listen to regularly. I know, I'm a Grinch. lol

There's a Carniceria Mexico Meat Market in Dallas, but I'm not hungry for Mexican food right now and I doubt there's one in Nacogdoches. Maybe some other time, though, it does sound good.

Full day. Did they actually make a game out of the lego movie? I only ask given how they've made lego games out of other movie franchises.

Yup. They did.
