Are you ready for some more interactive entertainment goodness? I can't hear you. I said, "are you ready for some more interactive entertainment goodness?" Seriously. I can't hear you. Is there even anybody here?

Oh well, I guess I'll just write this list for my own amusement.

And you can read it here - because, you know, shameless whoring and stuff.

A couple of those sound like fun but the ones with MMO in them automatically result in disqualification because I like my games to have a finite length and a story that has a beginning and an end. I also don't want to pay a monthly fee to play a game.

Most MMO's are free these days. In fact, WoW and The Elder's Scrolls Online are the only 2 I've heard of with a subscription.

Some MMO's have a story that has a beginning, a middle, and an end, and one that you can play by yourself for the most part. Just imagine the levelling is the single player component, and the endgame is multiplayer stuff like team dungeon crawling and PVP.

I actually bought and started to play the first Guild Wars but I didn't last very long. I may revisit if there is indeed a story and I'm not just getting together with a bunch of people just to kill shit, get loot, rinse, repeat.

If you want a really good MMO that costs 20 bucks and no more money ever, try the secret world. The combat is meh, but the "quests" are rarely kill or collect shit. Most of them are puzzles and exploration. Some of them are crazy too. There was one were they name dropped someone in a piece of text, which I had to google the name out to realise who it was. The person was a painter, so I realised I was looking for a painting, which had a clue that involved me looking up a bit in the bible to find out what I had to next. It's crazy!

Also, it has a fun story set in the modern day about the illuminati and templars and ghosts and vampires and shit. It's also well written and kinda funny.

Guild Wars 2 is one of my favourite games of all time, but if the first is anything like it, the story is shit. In 2, it's the actual gameplay I like, and visiting my friends. It's like coming here to talk to people but inside an actual game.

Funny you should mention Secret World. I was intrigued by it when I heard it had a Lovecraft vibe to it. Maybe I'll check it out.

Before your article, I bought a Belgian video game magazine that had a feature of No Man's Sky. I gotta say, it looks beautiful. Let's hope they can pull off the game.

It really does, and I am rooting for them! I loved their past games, but this one is maybe a touch more than they can handle. Oh well we'll see.

Yea No Man's Sky looks really cool. There's little information on it though. What system is it coming to and when?

Acording to the magazine I have, it seems it will be released on PC. There's no specific date; it only says 2014.

I just beat Stick of Truth last night. You're going to love the ending.

Yeah? Sweet. I played a bit more last night. I'm doing side quests at the moment though. I just found Mr Hankey in the Sewers and I'm looking forhis kids. Goddamn his and his wife's argument was hilarious.

Truth be told, I'm not playing it that much, mainly due to playing Resident Evil 4, which is still one of the best games ever.

I just put it on my wishlist.
