As an anti-Xbox and anti-Micro$oft thinker, I do like to check out the enemy from time to time. I have mostly focusted on the "Xbone" hardware itself and it's seeemingly weaker performance as compared to the PS4. Well, I largely overlooked the game that is supposed to be it's system seller: Titanfall.

It was a huge oversight, as I only had heard the buzz and watched some video. It looked like a cross between Call of Duty and Armored Core. Ok, the giant mech aspect seemed kind of cool, but the Call of Duty aspect is so bland and overdone. It is no surprise since the former Call of Duty makers are behind this game. What I read a few minutes ago, however, angered me and practically personified just about all that I hate about modern gaming and M$: No single player mode!

I read that you cannot even customize your character without being online! My mind went from "looks so-so and could be a big boost to the Xbone" to " I want to personally break every disk!" If Titanfall is a huge success, then it will become more acceptable for games to have no single player mode. That would be a gaming tragedy. If it sells below expectations--I hope it will--then the Xbox One could fail and fall more behind.

This is on top of what I read about the rumor of M$ buying exclusitivity for this game. I'm tired of that corruption, but I'd rather this garbage game stay off the PS4. Literaly, may this game become a Titanfail and cause the mighty Xbone to Titanfall!
