For no reason other than "Why Not?" Today I'll share the Comicbooks I've bought today and some funture comic plans.

Haven't read them yet but all have been great so far.

Revolutionary War: Motormouth & Supersoldiers

The Story goes Mys-tech a robot occult organisation is causing chaos in Britain and Nick Fury tasks S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Keller with Captain Britain to assemble the greats UK heroes to contain and defeat the robot attack before the robots take the heroes out first.

These are the tie-ins that lead up to the actual main series, We  have Motormouth ( think Punk Black Canary) and the Super Soldiers of Britain. Both offer something different, I prefer the art in Motormouth but the story in Supersoldiers is a little Better.

Afterlife with Archie #4

Riverdale full of Zombies drawn by Francesco Francavilla.

When it's in Trade buy it!

Mega Man #34

A start to two new storylines one featuring Rock (Mega Man) and a short story 100 years in the future involving X in his comicbook debut.

Next Monday

They say never meet your heroes... Well forget that! As I will be meeting one of my all-time favourite comicbook writers Peter David for his noir-esce Marvel detective book X-factor: the Complete Collection.

He's a very respected Author and is responcible for one of my favorite incarnation of Spider-man

Spider-man 2099.

Miguel O'Hara, an ambitious Irish-Mexican geneticist working for Alchemex a corrupt corparation in a future New York, betrayed by one of his co-workers in a DNA altering machine which gave him Spider power (when all other attempts cause the subjects to explode). Reading how the petty and selfish man grew to be one of the greatest heroes of his era in this crazy future was a great story growing up, I don't know what the limit is but I bring probably 15 comics from 4 different series maybe less.

This weekend is London Super Comic-con but I can't attend that, so this makes me extremely happy.

This is V saying "I'm afraid of the Future!"

We used to have a Forbidden Planet in Cork but it shut down since I left I believe. I loved browsing around even though the Magic players used to give me dirty looks for some reason. They had some Warhammer sets out too which were awesome.

I've seen Peter David's name around in comics but I think all I've read of him was his Fable book The Balvarine Order.

My comics catch today was EGOs #3, Star Wars #15 (by Brian Wood), and trade paperback Harley Quinn: Night and Day.

The latest comic I bought was the third tome of The Walking Dead. I was lucky to find an awesome comic store in the town i'm currently living.

I love the 2099 design, which is why I was more disappointed than I thought I'd be with the cartoon Spider-Man Unlimited, which I watched on Netflix.

That comic book about Rock and X looks cool.
