Titanfall has a big Problem

You know if you don't have a good connection, expect to have a lot of frustration. In one match I had over 30 connection issues. The crazy thing is everyone else is going about the battle like normal. I had two Pilots jump on me easily because I was unable to move because of a connection issue. RIght when I got reconnected, my Titan was nearly destroyed after just entering battle with it.

This is a big problem and makes me want to throw my controller across the screen. I always have occasional problems with Hulu Plus and Netflix but not to this extent. Your a sitting duck if you have these issues. I like the mobility in the game in traversing parkour style and the Titans are a cool edition to FPS gameplay but all the good is getting overwelmed with the connection issues I am having which making me hate this game.

I have the Season Pass and I bought the Collector's Edition of this game. Its all making think what was I doing. I should have bought Dark Souls 2 collector's edition and would have had saved money for another game. If your not having issues, good on you. Its tearing me apart inside. I don't have Uverse or Fios out here. My dream is to have Google Fiber. I am tried of everyone talking big about the internet being more involved with everything when there is places like mine that can't see that future.

I feel your pain. I'm still stuck on DSL in my area. There simply isn't anything better available and likely never will be anything better in my neighborhood. Titanfall on XB1 was designed so that Microsoft could toot its own horn about its Azure cloud servers and is heavily dependent on them to function, so if your Internet isn't up to snuff, you're going to have problems.

I'm not nuts about everything being on the "cloud" myself. I'd still rather have everything stored locally on my end. But march of progress (i.e. how can we monetize the shit out of everything) and all that nonsense.

I haven't read it but it seems Titanfall was originally going to be a PC exclusive. Internet providers are screwing us all over with expensive prices and keeping us all on the same download speeds because they know we have no choice. It pisses me off.

I couple of my friends told me about similar issues with that game.

It is a hit or miss on the fun factor simply because of connection issues. Thankfully I haven't had any recently.
