I was wondering if you've played Metal Gear Rising:Revengeance. They should have left off the Revengeance part of the title, that is just silly. I played the demo the other day and thought it was very fun. Not your typical Metal Gear game at all, though. I will probably get it for 360 eventually because it's a blast to slice through stone and metal with that blade.

You may recall I said 2013 was a milestone year for me, being that I turned 55 years old and it is the 15th anniversary of me discovering and playing Metal Gear Solid. Which led to me being a gamer.
I guess i wasnt thinking of this at the start of the year, but now would be, and is, a good time to actually celebrate my 15th anniversary by making 2013 The Year of Metal Gear!
Meaning between now and December 31, I will play all my Metal Gear Games. Not neccesarily all in a row, meaning, I will still play other games but my main focus will be Metal Gear.
I have inadvertently already started. A few nights ago I felt like playing Metal Gear Solid so I restarted playing my Japanese version I have of that game. I bought the MGS HD collection from Japan and although the collection did not include MGS Peace Walker it did include a code to download the digital version of MGS1 from the Japanese Playstation Store. I have a Japanese PSN account so I was able to download it. And by the way, in Japan the HD collection is called the HD Edition.
So I'm already playing MGS1 Japan
And just tonight I started playing
Metal Gear MSX
I am not going to rush through these games. I am going to take my time and really, really get into these games and enjoy them.
And speaking of this year being the Year of Metal Gear, Do you know what else this year is?
And I didnt make this up. I googled Chinese New Year and this is what I found
(copied and pasted)
February 10, 2013 marks the Chinese New Year, kicking off the Year of the Black Water Snake in Chinese Astrology. Snake years tend to bring unexpected transformations to our lives. Yet while there may not be many outward manifestations of change, there will be plenty of activity beneath the surface. Behind-the-scenes talks, secret negotiations and clandestine activity will characterize thisChinese year ... things are not what they seem in a Snake year.

Now is that freaky of what? It is the Year of The (water)Snake!
It was written in the stars
I have to play the Metal Gear Series
Snaaaaaaaake!!!!!!
