So guys I recently came upon some money and was contemplating on finally joining the PC gaming ranks. I was just wondering what you guys thought of me jumping in now or wating for later in the generation when innevitably hardware will be cheaper. I have never gamed on PC. I was wondering if you guys/girls know of games that will ease me into mouse and keyboard controls. Thanks I appreciate it in advance. Also any suggestion on PC games I should try out, or sites I should check out for better info on PC gaming will be appreciated. Thanks and "Keep it playful"

PC hardware is always getting cheaper and there's always something new on the horizon. There are significant milestones, but unless you're building a serious, hardcore rig, there's no reason to wait in my opinion. Also, there are tons of games that use a controller now, so you don't HAVE to get used to WASD.

We sure don't cover everything here on PixlBit, but we do cover more and more indie PC titles as time goes on. Hopefully you can scan through our reviews and find some recommendations. When you get a PC, get on Steam and join the PixlBit group!

like Travis said, a lot of games these days use game controllers, so it isn't so bad.  But for shooters, I think you'll find mouse and keyboard work best.

Steam is a good place to start, and reading PCGamer.com.  That's one of my favorite gaming sites, they have a good attitude.  There's lots of AAA, and indie games, and everything in between on PC. IT's a great way to play games.

I don't know much about PC Gaming but I think you can build a pretty good system while on a budget.

As for games there are a lot of spots to get a bunch of games on the cheap, and because of those places I've been debating on getting into PC gaming too (nothing too crazy, but a good solid system)
