Chris Celebrates St. Patrick's Day

Happy Green Monday Pixlbit! For the good folks in LA, I hear you had a little shaker because when I had my morning ritual of checking Twitter, it was filled with people making jokes about it.

I saw this on Facebook, and it made me laugh…hard.

So today instead of talking about how I could be Irish, I have bed duty because I’m sounding like a lifelong smoker (raspy voice and coughing) and being achy. Blah, anyways I was going to represent

The sneakers I was going to wear today along with my Angels hat

Yeah I was going all green to avoid the pinches from folks but I will be here, spending time with some portable gaming, and maybe firing up the 360 to continue playing Saints Row IV.

At some point today I need to fill out my numerous NCAA brackets because Warren Buffet has my billion-dollar check. My Aztecs won the Mountain West Regular Season, but came up short in the Finals of the Conference Tournament, but were already a lock for the dance and being #8 in the country.

Good to see that they moved the Selection Show to Viejas Arena instead of having it at the Athletics Center so the fans can be part of it. SDSU is one of I think 6 teams that has had their Football and Basketball teams make the postseason four years straight. Congrats to everyone who’s teams made the dance!

So while in bed today I think I’m going to play some Pokemon Y especially after I bought a year of this

I have already switched over some Lvl. 15 Pokemon to my Y save. I haven’t played a lot of Y so the 15’s should dominate everyone in the game. I’m thinking of upgrading Pokemon this way and using them in both games. I thought the $5 a year isn’t bad especially since it takes the credit from the prepaid cards.

In other gaming this is my favorite time of the year for the Simpsons Tapped Out because they do like St. Patrick’s Day

The rivers and lakes are neon green

And this is one of the unlockables for visiting your towns on your friend’s list.

Ok Pixlbit I’m cutting this short on Monday…oh and it’s a nice 72 degree day here in Sunny and occasionally shaky Southern California.

I should probably consider getting Pokemon Bank at some point, maybe the next time I remember to add some money to my eShop account.

It is a cool little app, and for $4/year, it isn't bad. I just added six characters from my X save so hopefully I can go run through folks in the early parts of Y.

Ashey, it's PaDDy, not Patty. My Great-granda was a Paddy, my great-uncle was a Paddy, and so were a ton more of my family. My aunt is Patty.

I'm one of the many who isn't Irish, but I like to pretend and drink green liquids with everyone else. Of course during St. Patty's Day, being sick took over.

Bah, my March Madness is over and done with. And I stay in on Paddy's Day, too many people using it as an excuse to get drunk and act like asses.

This is a fun time, especially when your team is still in it. I rarely drink but I like hanging out the peeps. I'm with you about the folks who like to behave like dbags.
