I used to play the hell out of Pat Riley Basketball on the Genesis. It sucked.

I'll have to do some kind of make-up blog where I play like a bunch of vidyer games, but for now, here's what I've been up to and what I have planned for my birthday today.
Played: Nothing too much really, but my friend is going to give me his Game X Change credit and I have $100 coming from my parents, so likely new games on the horizon for me.
Watched: The movie A Mighty Heart for my class tomorrow. Depressing true story about the pregnant wife of Daniel Pearl during his capture following 9/11.
Also watched Mud, which was a really great love and sniper-assassin story, featuring Matthew McConaughey with improbably good abs for a starving guy. The kids bring him food and maybe he wasn't on the island for long though, so maybe that's nitpicky. I watched with friends and was drifting in and out due to tiredness.
Read: A crapton of interested articles online, mostly from the usual suspects, http://cracked.com, but also a few really neat articles about how
SFASU: is an awesome team with a great personality that will play UCLA in the round of 32 in March Madness today for my birthday. I hope they win! They're having another watch party in the Student Center, which was damn fun the last time; you could barely hear yourself over the deafening screams of that packed theater when we beat VCU 77-75 in overtime to advance and win out first-ever NCAA game. I'll be coming back from lunch with my parents in Tyler to watch it.
Listened to: Lots of http://ksauradio.com, especially after I fixed our playlists a bit by making sure no Nickelback songs play without request among other things. Also, whatever playlist I happen to be playing on Song Pop.
Will Write: A blog about the basketball video games I have played at some point, may even be a podcast. I will also post videos of the student center watch party crowds and the games SFASU has played. Basketball has always been my favorite sport to watch and the one I was best at as a kid, so it's appropriate that I was born during March Madness!
Also, I'll make up for the non-gaming MaD blogs I've posted somehow.
Motivational message: No matter what happens, if you're not dead, you can keep going
Demotivational message: If you're rooting for UCLA today, kill yourself. Just kidding, don't!!! But seriously, I hope my birthday karma crushes your dreams today if you're rooting for Team de Opposicion!
Hope my birth date finds everyone relaxing and enjoying whatever they are doing today!
