Unless it's a cruel April Fool's day joke Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army will be available on PSN tomorrow.

While they don't mention price I'm assuming $9.99.

As part of the varied SMT Universe this is yet another take and bears no resemblance to the main series, Persona, Devil Survivor or Digital Devil Saga games other than the demon roster.

This game is an action RPG featuring a teenage detective named Raidou. Summoning and fusing demons to fight alongside our hero is the most solid link to other SMT games and like many other spin-offs it does not have the SMT prefix in Japan.

If this one does well let's hope the DS 2 which is a little more refined gets a North American PSN release sometime soon. Sadly though it will not be coming with the Raidou Jack Frost plushie because who wants a digital plushie anyway?

Here's the rest of this weeks PSN drop

Here's the PSN+ games and discounts for the week

Mercenary Kings and Arkham City for those too lazy to click on the link.

I remember everyone going nuts over this game because of the plushie. Hopefully for the fans of the game, it is released at $10.

Awesome.  Since I don't have a functioning PS2 and don't plan on getting another one, I figured that I would never be able to play this game.  I hope they release Nocturne in the near future too.

I was not really aware of SMT until I played Persona 3 on the PS3 (off of the PSN).  I loved it and became interested in the "real" SMT games, but didn't have a system to play them.  Instead I played through Persona 1&2 on the PS3 and then Persona 4 on Vita when it came out.

Last year I got a 3DS and then eagerly bought every single DS and 3DS SMT game.  So far I've only played SMT IV and started on Strange Journey, but I plan on eventually playing them all.

I love the series and the diversity of the different spin-offs. I must admit I have not beaten Strange Journey yet or Soul Hackers.

Just another reason for me to save whatever money I'm able to so I can feel like I'm missing out on less stuff.

I have those games on the PS2.  The battles are fun, but the story can be a bit boring at times.  This is one series that could use a bit of voice acting.

Every RPG should let you summon monsters to fight with you. Why isn't that in everything? Best RPG idea ever!

What's Mercenary Kings? I'm too lazy to click a link, so you damn well better believe I'm too lazy to open up a Google Search tab.

It's a PS4 game. I don't know much about it either.

Yet another game I have to think about getting digitally vs physically. Why are there are alot of RPG's being offered digitally on PSN these days?
