I've been thinking about birthday's as RPGs lately too. I'd like to restart the game. I just can't seem to progress any farther. I think I didn't assign my skill points properly. So can I?
So I'm at level 24 today

It's my birthday today
So it's my birthday today and like every year I like to ponder about all the things in my life. Like was has happened, what could of happened, what might happen, and will happen. I like to reflect on everything that I've been through because I've seen alot of shit happen in my life, I try to forget all the bad things but sometimes the past likes to sneak up on you and scare you, but the only thing you can do is deal with it and learn from past mistakes. The past is best left forgotten but you will never forget, even as hard as you try. But you learn from those mistakes and take that as experience for planning ahead, for the future.
Because in a way, life is a learning experience, you take everything that you've learned and use that to apply to yourself in real life. We never stop learning, because the greatest teacher of all, never stops teaching us. That teacher is life. And in a sense, life is like a game, or more exact, an rpg. If you think about it, it makes sense. In an rpg, you go through the whole game battling and earning experience points, and you earn new skills by learning them and you apply them to your character, and you help people or npc's in need and get rewarded. And your party members, you get them by recruiting them for the next big fight. Now take that into the real world, your battle is with life earning experience points through all the stuff life trows at you, and the new things you learn are skills, you apply that to yourself and plan ahead for the next chapter in life. And those npc's? People you meet in real life, it could be at a job or anywhere, and your friends are your party members. You recruit your friends through friendship. See the similarities? I could be rambling but my mind does go to weird places sometimes.
But enough of pondering, it's been a great day so far, I plan to play some things, like a new game I got a while back, it's my first time trying the series. I wont say what it is till a later blog. I spent most of my day transfering pokemon from G4 (4th Gen), to G5 (5th Gen), and finally to G6 (6th Gen), I do this every year on my birthday, it's lke a tradition I have, I've been doing this since 2004, so a decade of sorts. Alot of the pokemon from G3 (3rd Gen) have been with me since and glad I finally have them with me on my new journey.
Ho-Oh and I share a special bond
Like this one has been with me since 2004 and every year on my bday, I transfer it to the current pokemon game because it holds a special significance to me. This Ho-Oh is from Pokemon Colisseum on the Gamecube, yep it's that old. And here is proof:
Here is Lugia from Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness:
And here is this Deoxys's my bro gave me for my bday once:
You know you and your pokemon are best friends and have dedication to you when they cross the boundaries of time and space to be with you. I cherish all my pokemon, sure it's all pixles and code of data but like a real pokemon trainer, you care about your team. Heck even Pokemon Y's Nurse Joy gave me a Happy Birthday cake:
She throws confetti, gives you a special birthday wish, and even changes the song for you. She is so kind.
So I guess that's all for now, thanks for reading and later.
