Hey folks,

Its yet another, "wow I can't belive its been so long since I blogged", blog.

I"m just stopping in to say a quick hello and let you know I still poke around a bit. I hope to get a decent blog in this weekend and I want to do another PB&J Fluff Edition podcast. If you haven't checked that out yet, feel free to do so. Pardon the "first podcast jitters" but I think I come across ok.

I still dabble in CoD multiplayer, I"ve also been playing HAWKEN on Steam and started the new Strider, which I really need to get back to. I also been testing my Genesis carts, I have a few that don't work, I cleaned the crap out of them but still nothing. I need to try them on another Genesis to see if its my console.

In other news, PAX is next weekend and I can't wait. I"m doing all three days. Two things bug me, though. The gaming tables will close at midnight instead of 2am, and they will be checking every backpack that goes through the door. Now don't get me wrong, I 100% understand the need to check backpacks after what happened at the Boston Marathon, in fact, its a blessing we get to carry backpacks at all after that. i just hope the bag searches are well organized and they keep the lines flowing. This has the potential to be a queue nightmare.

Let me know if any of you are interested in hearing anything specific about PAX, I"ll be sure to check it out. I hope to bring me laptop so I can pass along some instant news.

I like it so far, but I'm not convinced I like it as a Strider game or just a really good Metroidvania. I need to play a bit more to decide that.

I loved it because of the metroidvania style. I didn't have much luck with the NES game when I played it last.

I never liked the NES version. Big fan of the arcade and Genesis port, though

That actually reminds me that I was going to download Strider on the Wii VC. I think that the Genesis version is on there somewhere.

Those backpack checks will totally kill off any chance of smuggling the special brownies in.

I think these checks will be for explosives and weapons only. Brownies should still be ok, not sure about a bag of blue meth though

I wanna go to PAX so bad. We're hoping to make it to the Boston one at some point but probably not in the next couple of years But hey, have fun! Good to see you still around.
