I'm playing FFX too, but I've played it before. I love the combat system and using all your party members too. I also haven't really gotten into the swing of what Kimahri is supposed to add though, whereas everyone else is kind of obvious what their role is.
What's happening everyone?

Happy Tuesday folks!
I hope everyone is doing well on what for me, has always been, the worst day of the week.
So I thought I'd post a general blog saying hello as it's been a few weeks since I posted. Life has been really crazy for me lately with work and home. Crazy but a lot of fun. I've been travelling quite a bit for some projects I'm working on; first Memphis a few weeks back and now Chicago & Milwaukee this week. I drove to Chicago yesterday from Pittsburgh and boy, is Chicago a mess to drive into. Far too many lanes for my quiet country roads ass but I think I arrived just before the main rushhour so no complaints.
Homelife has been busy too lately with myself and the wife starting to fill out the house and knock some minor projects off the list. It's making my Saturdays rather tiring but I don't mind so much as it's generally very satisfying when we complete something. It also has the added effect of making the house feel more like our home
As I mentioned in my last blog, I started the FFX HD Remaster on the Vita. Since it's arrival, i've probably only put close to 10 hours in the game which is far less than I thought I would have at this stage. I will say however, that I am having a heck of a lot of enjoyment with the combat system. As I said before, this is my first experience with this entry in the series and my initial excitement has not waned. Inspite of my limited play time, I find myself thinking about the game a lot during the day. I like the availability of all party members during each fight and that each member fulfills a unique role. The only one I've yet to really figure out is Kimahri. I'm not really sure what his deal is but I'll keep using him to see how he develops. I do have a couple of questions I'm hoping the community can help me with: 1) At the moment, i'm keeping every party member involved and levelling them together. Is this the best strategy in this game or can I focus my attention on a smaller group? 2) I've just finished my first game of Blitzball and I wasn't exactly blown away. I understand that you can win weapons from completing more games but is it worth the time investment? 3) When comparing different weapons for each character, I'm not seeing any stats other then what effect they have e.g. Strength +3%. Am I missing something? Seems odd that the weapons themselves wouldn't have stats. Anyway, I'd appreciate any help.
Kimahri - cool looking dude but what's his deal?
Otherwise, I just started the latest Tomb Raider via PS+. I'm only about an hour in but it's both interesting and a lot of fun. I'm not far enough yet to fully grasp the systems in place but looking at the overall game length (11-1/2 hours via howlongtobeat.com), I can see me definitely finishing it out.
Lastly, I've continued drawing as I said I would during BaD. It's great to get back into it. I'm still rubbish but I'm willing to put the effort in to get better. So far, I'm focusing on drawing Scott Pilgrim and cast as it's an easy jumping on point. I might attempt Solid Snake later tonight though if I get back to the hotel early. I'd like to try something a bit more gritty. I do want to put some up online but I haven't decided what website to use yet. Ideally, I'd like a website which only contains peoples artwork but no website is jumping off the page to me. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd be very appreciative. Once I upload my drawings elsewhere, I'll either post them here or link to there so you guys can check them out. Bear in mind, I suck, but it's fun.
Anyway, thanks for reading my ramble of sorts.
Stay happy and focus on positivity everyone.
Later
P.S. I'm working my way through my inbox and there's a lot of interesting blogs I've yet to comment on. I hope to jump in this week and get back in the flow of things. I've been letting my fellow Pixlbits down...
