I am still alive. I've super busy, plus I had a good freind pass away on the 4th of April in Afganistan, He was over there as a contracter and was bitten by a scorpion. I went to his funeral today, it was so unreal, I just can not believe he is gone. We survive war and this happens. Anyway, I will try to get back into the swing of things.

That sucks about your friend. You manage to dodge all the bullets and then get killed by nature.

Luckily we never were shot at, but to go like this is just terrible. Being in service and deployed those people become your family, I really am still in disbelief.

yeah i know what it's like to lose someone all of the sudden.  It takes a longer time to grieve.

Thank you. He was in the military, We went to Iraq in 2003, he got out a couple years later and started working as a contractor over there.
