So Castle of Illusion comes with the original game.

I thought that was a cool idea. As a PSN+ member you can download the remake and you get the "original" game free.(Until April 24th I think)

So I thinks to myself I thinks, this will be great to play on my PSP, or maybe on Vita for them that owns one. But noooooooo, it can only be played on the PS3.

I just played a bit of it and it was fun but not having it play on a portable device, what's up with that?

I reviewed the 3-D remake on PS3, but it didn't come with the original game.

i haven't had a change to check out the original. I've played through the first section of the HD remake though. it's fun as hell.

That free Mizrabel theme you get with it is pretty badass too, had it up as my theme until I won a prize theme from Poker Night last night

Platformers are made for handhelds. I feel your pain. Plus, I have extra pain from not owning a PS anything. Also, back pain.

I already bought it on the 360. I hadn't even played it yet. I also own the original version on the Genesis and beat it. I hadn't played that game in years.

I downloaded this but I haven't tried it. I would have liked it to be Vita compatible as well, heck remote play would have been nice.

Thought about getting this game as a buy but decided against it. Didn't know it wasn't a PSP/Vita play though. That does suck, it's like those Neo GEo titles that you can't play on both your PSP and PS3 but you have to buy to different versions of the same game!
