I just realized that I cannot.  The PSOne classics version of Suikoden is only for the PS3 and PSP.  I need to wait until the summer and have access to my brother's PS3 so that I can transfer the game to my device of choice.

I'm playing it on PSP. Just loaded it up the other day. I must be pyschic or something  

Sony just fixed the PSONE Classics issue.  I can now download all the Crash Bandicoot, MGS and Suikoden I want onto my Vita...  I should probably tell Snee because he was wondering about that stuff the other day.

Nice. Wish I could download them to my Vita. :(

Is it for the ps3 as well cause its been many years since I played it and got rid of my psx disc back when I was being dumb and trading games si I need to get it is it the standard 9.99 or 5.99??

Yes it's for PS3. The standard price for PS1 games is $5.99 but occasionally RPGs like Xenogears come in at $9.99. I'm guessing they'll want that for Suikoden II and as far as I'm concerned they can take my money. LOL

I have found that the best guidelines for the PSOne Classics pricing is that anything by Square Enix tends to be 9.99 and everything else tends to 5.99 with a couple of exceptions like....  Tomba, Tomb Raider and Resident Evil.  It is odd because the Tomb Raider and Resident Evil sequels are 5.99.

Yeah I walked in the door and went over to the used PS1 section. I found Suikoden and Valkyrie Profile (discs only) and grabbed them.

When I went to pay for them the manager who knows me very well made a point of telling me someone had just walked out with Suikoden II 10 minutes before I got there.

Needless to say I have never let him live that one down.

Awesome! I have the first one on PSN. I'd get the second one in a heartbeat.

I got a digital copy of the first game recently to play it on my PSP. Looking forward to 2. I'll be looking to find all 108 stars so I'll be playing for a while. :)

dram! Yet another PSOne title I'll probably end up owning digitally. I swore I wouldn't be buying digital titles if there was a means to own it physically but given the current price on that game. But then again it'll give me an excuse to buy the first game as well.

I would rather have physical copies too but between sales, PSN+ and games that I can't find at a reasonable price in physical form my digital collection on PS3 is getting close to 200 games now.

What's the word on Suikoden 1?  I'd like to get them both?

The first game is definitely worth playing. 

Glad to hear. I still have my original copies of Suikoden 1 & 2 along with 3 and 5. I have only beat the first one, need to jump back into them. Backlog blues man.

You have all the good ones (well I liked Tierkreis on the DS but a lot of people didn't).

I was playing through 5 again last year when somebody bought it from me. 

I missed the one for the DS, but 5 was great. Wonder if we'll ever get Suikoden 6.

Maybe if SII sells like hot cakes. Maybe they'll even release the PS2 games on PSN.

I could have sworn this was rumored years ago. Either way, this is great news. This is one the few remaining PS1 games I've wanted to play.

Interesting, this was one of the big games on the Playstation, and there was no way I was going to pay for their crazy prices just to try it, but if it will be a reasonable price on PSN I'll give it a try.

Awesome. This will definitely be the most reasonable way to play it.

I'm not about to pay $150+ for any game not even this one, so yeah even if it's 10 bucks it's mine the day it releases on PSN.

I'm glad that a new generation will finally be able to experience it legitimately. =)
