Random Wednesday Update...with a hint of Marvel.

What's up Pixlbit! Maybe some of you have heard about the Disney Infinity news. If not, Disney Infinity just announced that Marvel will be coming to the game. Disney Infinity is a pretty fun game. Especially when you play with someone. When Disney Infinity first hit the stores, I didn't pay attention to it because I just saw it as Skylanders with Disney characters. The weekend of the release, my girlfriend and I went to Disneyland and literally every store at Disneyland and California Adventure had the Disney Infinity starter set and figures. So I figured I might as well check it out. The following week I found myself at GameStop buying the set.

As a Disney or Skylanders fan, you'll love this game. Even if you're not that big of a fan, it's still a fun game to play with others. I didn't think I would get into them, but surprisingly I did. It's been a while since I've played the game because my girlfriend and I don't have that much time to play it. Since I read a rumor about the Marvel characters coming to Disney Infinity, I knew I would it was time to pick it back up. Now the official release of Marvel coming to the game doesn't have a date, but is stated to come during this Fall.

I know it's early in the week, but I've already bought a few things. I recently came back from a trip to my local Target and they had a bunch of Bose AE2 headsets on clearance. They were on clearance about a month ago, but I wanted to wait for a good price. One of my buddies actually tried to convince me to get them a couple weeks ago, but I knew that the price would eventually go down and I'm glad I picked them up at the price I found them for.

A couple days ago I went to GameStop to buy Pokemon X. I traded my copy about a month ago because I wasn't playing it. If you read my last post, I found Pokemon White 2 on clearance and I started to play it. It made me miss Pokemon X so I just had to go and get it again. Another game I purchased is Persona 4 Golden. I had the game before, but I bought it only to try it out during a time when I was sick. I listen to podcasts from IGN and others and they all mentioned P4G as one of their top games to play on the vita. So I thought of buying it again and luckily it was on sale so I decided just to get it.

That's all I have to say about that (felt like putting a Forrest Gump quote.) Anyways, I hope you all have a fantastic week!

I just started to get back into Skylanders so I might wait for Disney Infinity. It would cost me way too much to do both,lol!

I really need to finish Pokemon X, I got to the Kalos League but havent challenged against them yet.

Yeah I would wait too. Skylanders has so much stuff it's unbelieveable. Maybe when Disney Infinity gets a price cut you can pick it up. When I picked up X I thought I would be able to sit down and just complete it within a week, but before I traded it a while back I put in 40 hours and playing those 40 hours all over again seemed like a hasle. So I think I'll wait a while till I finish Bravely Default or just really feel like playing Pokemon again.

Same here. I just got Pokemon X because I felt like it was time to get back into it, but I felt like I've missed so much because the last Pokemon games I really played was Yellow, Blue and Silver.

Gameplay wise, I actually liked Skylanders better than Disney Infinity.

I'm kinda sad because I lost my PR contact with Disney, that's how I was able to review stuff like Epic Mickey and the first Infinity game.

I think Skylanders is a bigger game franchise compared to Disney Infinity. Probably Disney Infinity gets more publicity because of the fact it has Disney in it. I've wanted to try Skylanders, but the price hasn't gone down to where I want it to be. I think it'll be a while till it does because I wanna get it for the XB1.
