yeah I bought this on sale a bit ago but haven't played it yet.  I'm going to soon though, it looks amazing.

It's definitely high on my list of games to install next. There's that.

I don't pay attention to steam anymore.  I never play the games that I buy.  Or I end up buying them again when they get a Vita release.

I've dedicated my summer to making my purchases worthwhile.

I rarely watch Steam Train videos, oddly enough. Love Game Grumps though.

I do like how Steam users can get a ton of games for cheap. The consoles are trying but nowhere near as good as Steam sales.

Then of course there's the factor of not having enough space on my laptop to have this all readily available at once (I have to choose what games I'll be playing for a period of time) and what happens if Steam's service ends, given I only own subscriptions to these games, really?

The savings come at a cost, which is why, while I love taking advantage of this stuff, I hope physical media and proper ownership stick around for a long time to come.

I do love me some physical media. If I can find the physical version of a digital game I already own, and it's at a good price, I'll buy it, because you never know.

and once again I miss out yet again. But then again I've yet to find a game that would warrent me to buy a steam prepaid card for my account.

I don't see the point in buying a pre-paid Steam card, I just use debit or credit if something catches my eye and sounds reasonable.
