Well I went to the interview and found out they dont garauntee hours. They only give normally 9 to 15 a week for their employees that are part time and they werent hiring fulltime. So Ive been depressed today :( I was so hopeing the find something good and it turned out bad :( I know that me going back to school is over all the best thing but still I really could use a better job to help out until I get a degree.
I hope your all doing well and that yall got a good laugh out of the vids. I literally love the CD.
Sorry to about the job. I have been there too. Drove all the way from the east side of Houston to the west side of Houston, paid beltway tolls and wasted at least 3 hours of my time for what turned out to be some kind of pyramid scheme.
I have seen the Mario video before but the Zelda is by far my fave of the three. Surely raised my spirits.
I drove a good hour or so from Desoto to Richardson or maybe Irving (both near Dallas) for a screening interview after I put my resume online. I then had an interview at a [unnamed bank] location near my house. I put on my resume I knew SOME SPANISH. I did and still do. The interview went fine until the very end when the interviewer remembered to make sure I was fluent in Spanish. On the plus side, it didn't seem like the greatest place to work anyway, but I was desperate at the time. #Fuck2013.
Sorry about your disappointment, Nicelob. I like those Star Bomb cartoons, though, even if they are a bit heavy on dick jokes. I might have to try and find a way to meet Danny and Arin when I go to L.A. Hmmm ...
Glad I could raise your spirits Gemini, knowing that makes me def feel better ^_^. You and Joe both seem to have got the bad end of the stick in those 2 situations. I did use some gas to go the interview but nothing like what yall went through. Im gonna get back to looking and I think put only fulltime in the option. That way only people with a fulltime position will call me. The Luigi and Ryu vs Ken ones are my fave,lol

hey sorry about the job Nicole. I've been disappointed a lot of times in life when I really needed or wanted a certain job and didn't get it. It's really a sinking feeling, but it will pass and if you keep on looking, I'm sure something else will turn up.
I know, it was just disappointing about the hours. I figured a big retail giant like that would garauntee hours or atleast keep you above 20. Im def gonna keep looking, Im not giving up, not one bit.
Matt Snee just said what I was going to say. I've experienced the same disappointments and anxiety over not landing that job I really wanted (and needed). I most definitely know how you feel. Take some time out to relax a bit and then start gearing your mind towards resuming your job search. You'll eventually land a sutable job. Don't you worry.
I hope so Jamie, I do have a job right now just hopeing to find something better. I am going take a bt before I pick back up on it but Im still searching in stores and online for something fulltime. I kow ifI get fulltime Ill be where I want until I get a degree. I have 3 years retail experiance so it has to count for something!
Sorry Nicole, I thought there was going to be some good news. Keep you head up, these bumps in the road suck, but we've all been there, and there will be something good for you.
Thank you Chris, I wish I had had good news to post but sadly that didnt happen. I however am gonna keep looking and work toward getting school restarted this fall.
