What's up PB,
So I just wanted to drop some random bits (giblets if you will) because I kind of mentioned them last time. Like the Fragile Dreams mini reveiw.Well in a nut shell just like most of the reveiws I read it has great art and character design. Beatiful music, good writing and voice acting for the most part. What kills this game is really bad controls. Not broken but pretty damn rough. Enough that it made me get agrivated enough to just quit playing. But thats just me. Its a real shame because there is lot to like here. It just feels like they ran out of time or were not too expirenced with this style of gameplay.
I have also put a little time into The Deadpool game. I am a fan of the character and his comics and as far as staying true to the flavor of Deadpool the game it is a dead ringer. The gameplay is good but can get a little repetitive. If your keen to old school Devil May cry with a touch of Arkham Asylum, and the ability to teleport short distances then you will likely enjoy it. You can use melee and start with double katanas but you can buy sais and battle hammers. As you would expect the katanas are balenced, the sai are quick, and the hammers hit hard. As for Guns you start with duel pistols, but you can buy shot guns and I think a rocket launcher. And there are grenades and traps too. Worth a rental for sure if your a fan.
Other than that I have been revolving around Borderlands 2, Gran Tourismo 5, and Skyrim. I needed a break from all the shooting and slashing so I knocked the dust off of GT5 after not touching it for over a year. I got back in the groove by replaying all of the license test and trying to get silver and golds. First time through I settled for bronze just to get through them. Got most to silver at least and a few golds. Won some races and bought some cars and tuned some stuff up. I know some people get intimidated by this game and I am not a gear head at all but I get a kick out of this game. You can get really techy and hard core with it or keep it as simple as you want.
As for Borderlands 2, I have been trying to get my Psycho leveled up. Currently at lv54 working for lv72. I have to say he is a lot of fun to play with. He is all about mob control and insane amounts of melee damage. Sounds wierd for that to be a strong focus in a shooter but it works and it works beautifully. His ability Buzz Ax Rampage is similar to Bricks Berzerker skill in the first game. For a short time he heals, gains damage reduction and gets a 450% bonus to melee damage. If you get the cap stone in his Mania tree you can go incredible Hulk on the baddys if you wait until your health is 33% or less before triggering Buzz Ax Rampage. The main two perks are your Bonus to damage is now 850% to melee and your Buzz Ax Rampage will not need to cool down after you change back like it would normaly allowing you to hulk out as often as you want when your health is low.
Other than that it has been a beatiful first week of May, my favorite month of the year. I just really like spring and plus my birthday is this month. And the weather has been mild and no rain, can't ask for more. Any how thats all I know, as usual thanks for reading and dealing with my half ass editing. lol Laters and peace!
