Two Things

1. Remember that mountain of advertisements I was coding for my professor's research a while back? No? Well, I was going over some lecture slides to study for my final this Thursday and came across the results, which he shared with us:

Basically, according to a random sample of advertisements on prime-time network television in the fall (my prof's, so hopefully I stated that correctly), men are much more likely to be voicovers than women, characters in ads are usually incompetent dipshits/betas (needing to be sold products) and other things.

2. What the fuck, Blake?

On a lighter note, Captain N is doing what I wish I did to finish off May 4th; need to buy RSII

Oh yeah. The Dildo Assailant is my hero. I mean, he had no real motive, he just slapped a woman with a dildo a few times, stole her dog, and duct taped it to a tree. Unfortunately, the dog died, but the rest of the story is funny as balls!

"Dipshits who need products sold to them..."  Yup sounds about right.  Laughing

Men doing more voiceovers than women? I can't name a commercial where a woman was the voiceover...oh wait Flo on the Progressive Commercials.

Talks of Rogue Squadron makes me want to hook up my N64

I didn't like the N64 one, but the Gamecube one was a system seller, for sure.

And I can name a few female VO ads, but only cause I coded all of this.

RS2 might be a bit pricey new but it's really fun, it still looks amazing  for a launch title that's over a decade old. If you can't get a new copy, try finding a used copy, you wont be disappointed. I'm trying to see if I can get Rebel Strike at some point.

Rogue Leader came with a copy of the original Star Wars arcade game. I think it was on a second disc or something. I have to go look at my copy. I know I have that in my collection. Maybe it was a promotional copy you got when buying it new or something.

I don't remember that at all, but that would be cool.

I've noticed some of the same things as far as commercials go, especially how terrible people are at using common houshold items and need this new thing to make everything better.

You're dumb. Buy some bubbles.

I kinda wish there was an advertising campaign for bubbles that actually said that.
