My review of this game goes up next week. It's a decent action RPG, but some of the item management and gameplay aspects get a little too fiddly sometimes.

The Witch and the Hundred Knights is more than meets the eye at first lance it looks like a typical hack n slash but trust me its not,
The Witch and the Hundred Knight is a little bit different than the usual titles that come from developer NIS. Sure there is campy humor, deep gameplay systems, and an unparalleled level of oddity but the foray into the hack and slash action RPG genre brings new challenges for NIS
Hundred Knight is a silent protagonist and despite the rumors of being a complete bad ass, he is a tiny demonic blob of darkness looking very much like Marvin the Martian. Hundred Knight is summoned by the Swamp Witch Metallia (known as Metallica in the Japanese version) to assist her in extending her swamp across the world. Metallia only has her powers in the swamp so it is up to Hundred Knight to deactivate pillars that will allow the swamp to expand.
Niblhenne
Metalia lives in the official house of the Swamp Witch, nestled in murky Niblhenne Swamp. Hundred Knight's adventure starts here. Due to the toxic nature of the swamp gas, no ordinary humans or creatures reside in.
Wudes Forest
This dense, verdant forest is adjacent to Metallia's swamp. It is protected by the Forest Witch. This forest is revered for its rich ecosystem—there's even a rumor that a huge caterpillar lives in the forest and attacks those who approach its nest.
Doen Hill
Humans reside in this little hamlet next to the Valentine Domain. The hill is resplendent with nature and must be passed through in order to reach the Valentine Domain from Niblhenne Swamp.
Chocolatta
This is the capital city where the Great Duchess Valentine resides. Walk around this red-light district and the charming townspeople will give you such a passionate welcome that it will make your head spin.
CHARACTERS
Metallia
The Hundred Knight's master and a genius witch who presides over Niblhenne Swamp. Some call her Witch Master. Her goal is to destroy her arch nemesis, the Forest Witch, and coat the world with swamp mud. As a self-proclaimed Dark Hero, she will go to any lengths to get what she wants.
The Hundred Knight
This is you! The Hundred Knight is the immortal, legendary demon that was summoned by the Swamp Witch. It is known to possess overwhelming powers, but if that is true, it seems a bit rusty...
This is just a fraction of pics here the game is pretty big and the character development is as deep and in depth as any Disgaea game this game isnt for everyone but if you are a hack n slash Diablo type player and can get past the indepth and menu then this game is for you.
