Tighter schedule than I can handle. Hope you're at least having fun.

We literally ate at the same table and talked to two of the big guys at Insomniac Games yesterday, one of whom a girl on the trip thought looked like a cute surfer dude. I'm good. Laughing

Whenever I would go to LA for E3, I would end up meeting some celebrities.  Some that I can remember include that X-Files lady, Evil Kinevel, Gary Coleman, some famous Zumba fitness instructor gal, a WWE Diva lady, Stan Lee, David Crane (Pitfall creator), and Charles Martinet (voice of Mario).  And Ulala from Space Channel 5.  Ha ha!

Are you going to E3 this year? I seem to remember a blog of yours where you said you weren't.

No I'm not going to E3 this year.  Same reason as last year and I'm not happy about it.

try to make it out to the Venice Beach Boardwalk if you can.

If there's one place that' is SoCal's melting pot, it's Venice.

We're going Saturday. By the way, we also ate at In N' Out today. My verdict: better than the Dallas location I've eaten at (though obviously very similar) and hit my cheap spot well, but still just a burger I will never understand the cultural phenomenon around.

So a mixed review as opposed to a negative one now. goaztecs will be happy. lol

Oh man! What was in the batcave? The batcar, the batplane, Alfred, Batwoman. . . bats? I want to know.

Nah, none of that stuff. It's just a cave with three or so entries. A film crew was in it though. And a celebrity.

Filming Spelunker 4, the incredible action movie with the tag line, "no hard hat, no ropes, no goddamn sense", I imagine.

ROSCOE'S CHICKEN AND WAFFLES! Awesome spot!

Sounds like a fun filled/packed time so far in what is breezy So Cal. Hit the airport, saw some famous folks, saw some big letters on the side of a mountain, checked out some stars on sidewalks. I think all you need to do now is curse out one of the freeways and hit the beach!

We have done and will do both those things. Venice and Santa Monica on Saturday.

By the way, yesterday was Los Angeles magazine, Rodeo Dr., and Universal Citiwalk, whereas today was Warner Bros. VIP tour, plus tons of face time with their execs afterward including Bruce Rosenblum and his assistant Maura, lunch in their comissary and time on the main lot.

Right now we're splitting to Aoemeba Records, Sunset Drive, and a comedy show, some ppl staying home. We need to figure dinner out for tonight still. It's a damn good time. I need to get to Sushi stop at some point up the street from us. I can just walk to $2.75 sushi? I love L.A.!

Hell yeah Amoeba Music! Love that store, tons of awesome stuff. Good stuff on the WB lot, Rodeo, and CityWalk...and who can complain about good cheap food?

The night I posted this I think I had Veggie Grill with our tour guide, who is a vegan. Not bad. Had the Bali blast which was tempeh and some other stuff. We got sushi on Thursday after the Getty and Instant Mom screening.

Nice! Ahh the Getty, the first and only museum where I actually wanted to touch a painting.

I wanted to touch so many things in there. The artwork was amazing!

I don't know what half these things are, but I'm sure you enjoyed yourself. Makes me want to go on another vacation.

Don't know any of those celebs. No kardashians?

Super Step Contributing Writer

I don't consider those things celebrities. The celebs we saw were not A-listers, but I at least I actually like their work. That's unfair, they don't seem that bad, hell maybe even like they're decent human beings. Then again, that's probably the fact I grew up in the generation that saw Paris Hilton on TV all the time and I just consider Kim Kardashian a huge improvement given the competition.
