A lot of interesting choices in that Pac-Man artwork. What is the slime? What is the evil Pac doing behind him? What kind of cabinet is that? Why does the cabinet have 3 buttons? 1-player, 2-player and ???

O, the questions!

The Pac-Man artwork is from Street Fighter X Tekken. Its strange though because in that game Pac rides a Mokujin mech. The shadow character is his Pandora state and the slime isn't slime but supposedly water as much of SF X T character portraits are supposed to be situated around watercolors much like SF 4 was situated around ink lines.

BTW, those were real questions right? Because if you were being rhetorical, then I'm sorry I went all wiki. Bad habit.

LOVED Championship Edition DX. If he was in SSB, that would be the bees knees.

I've never got around to getting Champ Edition DX. I loved the demo of it though.

No, no Pac-Man blogs from me today.  That May 22 day sounds a bit unconfirmed, plus I've written about Pac-Man so much that there's not a whole lot new to write about.  But I will have a blog up on Friday and Pac-Man will be in it.  He's not the main topic, but he's in there (but he usually is in my blogs).

Happy birthday!  Your birthday is WAY more important than Pac-Man's!  Pac-Man is just a video game character, you're a real person and you matter!

If Pac-Man were in the next Smash game, then it would have pretty much all my favorite characters in it (Kirby, Mega Man, etc.).  But I hope they don't use the current 'Ghostly Adventures' cartoon look for Pac-Man like they did for SFxT.  I don't care much for that look.

Its possible Pac-man will be based off his older looks if he is still in the game. I mean there characters that are not based on their recent exploits. Plus there are retro Galaxians and Rally X flags as items. So its possible that they could use another verison of Pac-Man.

No video game character is better than a real person, so I don't want to hear you saying things like that.

I didn't know that Galaxians and Special Flags show up as items in the new Smash game!

True story: I actually do have a Pac-Man T-shirt that says "The Original Ghost Hunter" that did wear last year. Sadly its shrunken a bit, so I didn't wear it yesterday.
