Hello Pixlbit! Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend. It's been a while since I posted something on here. I just came back from vacation. Went to visit some family from The Bay and just drove around the city. Anyways, as many of you know Watch Dogs released today! I've been excited about this game since the announcement. I was bummed out when they first delayed it and continued to delay it. Now it's here! To tell you the truth, the game is great but all the hype that everyone gives it doesn't do it justice. Don't get me wrong, I love free roam adventure games but this game is just a modern free roam with hacking abilities. That's just my little input on it though. Don't let my judgement cloud your thought of buying it. I'm still enjoying it and there's just so much to do. Maybe I'm saying all this now because I haven't even completed the first chapter and I've put in around 3 hours already. So there's so much to do around the city.
I've picked up a few games in the past couple weeks. First one is Lumines Electronic Symphony. I've never played Lumines and never got into puzzle games other than Tetris, but this game has a lot of great reviews and high scores. So I decided to give it a try. I didn't think I would get so hooked into the game. I noticed that I would play it so frequently that my Vita battery was fully charged when I started to play it and almost died on the same day.
Next was Wolfenstein: The New Order. When this game released, I thought it was going to be a mediocre shooter with a 6-7 hour campaign. Dang was I wrong! Even though this game doesn't have multiplayer, the story and length of the game will keep you busy long enough. Also there are collectibles throughout the levels of the game that will give you a few more hours to find. The game takes about 12 hours to beat depending on your playstyle.
Today is the release date of Watch Dogs, but there was also a Vita game I've been waiting months for and it's the Sly Cooper Collection. I loved these games back on the PS2. I bought the collection on PS3 a few years ago, but ended up trading them. The only game I completed was the first Sly Cooper game. I only dabbled a little in the second, third and fourth game in the series but I plan to complete them in order.
Well that's all I have for now ladies and gentlemen. To the people with PS+ subscriptions and Vitas, don't forget to download this month's free Vita game which is Limbo. Just thought I should add that note.
Hope you all have a great week! Happy gaming!
