What I've been up to

Hello Pixlbit! Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend. It's been a while since I posted something on here. I just came back from vacation. Went to visit some family from The Bay and just drove around the city. Anyways, as many of you know Watch Dogs released today! I've been excited about this game since the announcement. I was bummed out when they first delayed it and continued to delay it. Now it's here! To tell you the truth, the game is great but all the hype that everyone gives it doesn't do it justice. Don't get me wrong, I love free roam adventure games but this game is just a modern free roam with hacking abilities. That's just my little input on it though. Don't let my judgement cloud your thought of buying it. I'm still enjoying it and there's just so much to do. Maybe I'm saying all this now because I haven't even completed the first chapter and I've put in around 3 hours already. So there's so much to do around the city.

I've picked up a few games in the past couple weeks. First one is Lumines Electronic Symphony. I've never played Lumines and never got into puzzle games other than Tetris, but this game has a lot of great reviews and high scores. So I decided to give it a try. I didn't think I would get so hooked into the game. I noticed that I would play it so frequently that my Vita battery was fully charged when I started to play it and almost died on the same day.

Next was Wolfenstein: The New Order. When this game released, I thought it was going to be a mediocre shooter with a 6-7 hour campaign. Dang was I wrong! Even though this game doesn't have multiplayer, the story and length of the game will keep you busy long enough. Also there are collectibles throughout the levels of the game that will give you a few more hours to find. The game takes about 12 hours to beat depending on your playstyle.

Today is the release date of Watch Dogs, but there was also a Vita game I've been waiting months for and it's the Sly Cooper Collection. I loved these games back on the PS2. I bought the collection on PS3 a few years ago, but ended up trading them. The only game I completed was the first Sly Cooper game. I only dabbled a little in the second, third and fourth game in the series but I plan to complete them in order.

Well that's all I have for now ladies and gentlemen. To the people with PS+ subscriptions and Vitas, don't forget to download this month's free Vita game which is Limbo. Just thought I should add that note.

Hope you all have a great week! Happy gaming!

BEYOND!

Yep, there are a few games that have come out in the tale end of may but nothing that I'll be buying. Wolfenstein might of had a shot but most FPS games make me physically sick when I try to play them.

Witch Docs just isn't my thing. I have The Sly Collection for PS3. I love the games but I can only get so far before my lack of coordination makes me quit. LOL

Already pretended to download Limbo so that if I get a Vita it will be available.

Yeah one of my cousins has the same problem with FPS games. I owned The Sly Collection for PS3, but traded it in when Sucker Punch announced it was coming to Vita. It's good to have those PS+ games already downloaded or in your cart when they become available so you can enjoy them when you get a Vita. Just be sure to get your hands on a good sized gb card.

I really want to play Watch Dogs, but I'm not quite ready for the next gen yet.  soon.

It's a great game, but its a game that you don't have to run out and buy a new console for. You could wait for a price drop.

I picked up Wolfenstien and Bound By Flame on this check. Im liking both a lot but I think Ive been in the mood for  a shooter type game so Wolfenstien gets most of my attention right now. The story is really good and the characters were well made.

I didn't finish Wolfenstein because I had to return it in order to get Watch Dogs. I actually thought it was a great game for a shooter. Definitely didn't have a 5-6 hour campaign like CoD has. It actually got me excited for the remastered versions of Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light. I picked up a used copy of Bound By Flame. There were bad reviews about it, but wanted to try it out because it reminds me of a Witcher 2/Dragon Age esque game. So I thought I would try it out.
