Nice. I don't know if I've ever beaten a game that took too much over 20 hours.

I spent a good quarter of that PvPing and helping others phantom bosses.

I spent about a quarter of my total gameplay time helping other players defeat bosses in a summoned form, while using the earned souls to power up my character.  I mentioned the Ancient Dragon bc he is, imho the toughest boss fight in the game.  =)

Congrats! Now you can be miserable waiting until the next Souls game comes along like the rest of us.

nah I'm going to play the first two.  given the popularity of Souls games I'm sure I'll find others online still.  I hope anyhow.

Once you become acclimated to the gameplay mechanics its the most addictive, potent brew available, metaphorically speaking!  

Its kind of ruining other games for me already though.  I want to jump into Dishonored, but I couldn't stop thinking about maxxing out weapon reinforcement in Dark Souls.

Congrats, man! It's a great game, can't wait to jump back into it for NG+ when I have some free time.

I solicited help from dudes here in the forums a few times,and a few times over the PSN from Yarger, special shouts to him.  NG+ is gonna be awesome.

the Faraam Armor is my favorite in the game.  Once I found it I never took it off!

I've put 108 hours into the steam version of Dark Souls 2 and like 40 into the xbox version. I go back every now and then to do some multiplayer stuff. What are your favourite covenants?

that's an impressive sum of hours right there.  I can see myself getting into a count that large.

My favorite covenant was by far the Heirs Of The Sun.  I maxxed out to obtain the Sunlight Spear as fast as I could which still took a good deal of time.  Other than that one I think I had one encounter of being summoned while a member of Blue Sentinels.  I didn't do too much invading, though I had a helluva good time beating back invaders.  

The way they fight when they invade, only to find that you've summoned two others to help you shuffle off the mortal coil....awesomeness in a bottle, that is.

Right on, I too want to play NG+.  I think I'm going to go through as a Swordsman this next time and go the Magic route instead of Miracles.

I'm deep into a new game with a different build but I came across a new bug in doors of pharros where the enemies around me aren't attacking me and I can't affect them so everything is just static. Kinda don't want to play anymore.

that right there makes me glad I didn't spend too much time in the doors of Pharros.  

I can definitely sympathize with not wanting to play since the enemies won't aggro at you.....it takes the Dark Souls out of Dark Souls 2, if you get my meaning!

Damn 84 hours! Major props. I think the only game I would have probably sunk that much time into was one of the NCAA Football games. That character looks badass.

thanks Aztec.  Oddly enough though I never once felt like I'd been spending too much time on this title.  I usually am ready to take a serious break from most games around the 20 hours mark.

To date, Dark Souls 2 is just behind Skyrim in amount of hours I've sunk into it....115 for Skyrim.  And no 1000/1000 (back when I owned the 360).....ugh

and thus your awesome sauceness has been affirmed. I'm still sinking my teeth in the first game let alone trying out the sequel.

lol/  Nothing at all wrong with the first game.  I actually feel it's better than Dark Souls 2.
