Hello to the entirety of the PixlBittalion!

- As many of you read in a previous blog post, I've finally beat Dark Souls 2.  This game has ruined me for other RPGs that claim to focus on the combat.  My only gripe is that it seems that there's only one ending....I'm all ears for anyone who knows how to get a different ending than the regular stock ending.  Altogether, this was a lovely game, and I'm hella excited for the new DLC that was announced.

- Currently playing Wolfenstein The New Order, as a rental.  My goal is to make it through the campaign and move onto something else.  It's a good game thus far, for a FPS.

- Watching season 3 of Sherlock, which finally made its way to Netflix

- This would be a longer blog if I didn't have games to play and TV to watch.

- I'm back to work on June 30th, can't wait.....OVERTIME!!!!

I love Sherlock Holmes.  Have read all that stuff.  HAven't watched that show though.  I've watched Elementary, and it's okay....  I also didn't like the Robert Downey Jr movies, even though I love Downey.  I'm very particular about my Holmes.  I was watching a Basil Rathbone movie the other day and that was ok, a little weird though as Holmes was fighting Nazis.  WTF???

Holmes vs Nazis?  Interesting.  Benedict Cumberbatch plays a really good Sherlock.  I didn't care too much for the Downey Jr iteration of Holmes.

That guy should stick to what he's good at: drugs and Tony Stark

I'll definitely get in touch with Yarger.

Are you going to pick up Demon's Souls on the flash sale?

There are no alternate endings.

The whole point of Dark Souls 2 was to show that no matter what happens, the curse is a vicious cycle that can never be broken, which is why you're kind of stuck with the same ending over and over.
That's my take on it at least.

Makes perfect sense. I still have so many questions lol

I still remember being a bit freaked out by Hound of the Baskervilles in junior high. Good times.

I was pretty psyched to see Season 3 pop up on Netflix, too. I also really liked the Jeremy Brett Sherlock Holmes series that came out in the 80s.

My favorite version of Hound of the Baskervilles is with Peter Cook and Dudley Moore:

Well that proves it, im the weird one of the bunch, i prefer Downeys movies to the tv shows on sherlock holmes. Their apparently hopeing to do a third and I will be def excited  if they do. I havent played Dark Souls yet but with aquiring a PS3 I think Ill be jumping on it soon.

I'm with you Nicole I prefer the Downey's movies. But I'm a bit biased since I haven't really given a fair try to the show.

I was a bit like that after playing Dark Souls the first time too... This time though after a while I just needed something faster paced. So I played Vanquish haha.

Wolfenstein is excellent. I love the feel of the game. It's a throwback to when FPS games were fun and piece of shit Halo/CoD imitators! Also, I love the Tarrantino style approach to it.

i had a decent time with Wolfenstein, though I ended up returning it prior to finishing.  Ill get back to it in the future I'm sure.  For now though I've got my hands full with Demon's Souls and the first Mass Effect!

yet another gamer now enjoys the awe and majesty that is wolfenstein: The New Order. Take out those nazi bastards. make them pay!

Finished up Sherlock too just recently.I'd say something but I'm not sure if you've finished it yet.
