Once again, hello Pixlbit!

Sorry for posting too much these past few days. So as I mentioned before, I bought Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch at Target. I had FFXIII-2 but exchanged it for NNN. Now I decided to return Ni No Kuni and just got a PSN card for the RPG Flash Sale that's currently going on. Even though I wanted a physical copy of the game, I just couldn't pass up the $5 price the PSN had for it. I looked at it as $5 for the game but $10 for the physical disc. So I just decided to suck it up and buy the digital download. I had extra cash in my PSN wallet so I also decided to pick up Tales of Graces f. Even though I've read some negative things about this game, I wanted to get this as my start into the Tales series. Eventually I will get the rest of the games, but this will last me for a while.

I was also excited to get a phone call from my girlfriend because she asked me if I wanted anything from Target and I jokingly said I wanted Final Fantasy XIII-2. I was surprised that she actually bought it for me. So there goes my dilemma between FFXIII-2 and Ni No Kuni.

Well readers, i'll probably post something next week since I've posted enough on here this week. I'm currently playing Mass Effect, still thinking about whether to open my copy of Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask, going to sink a few hours into Ni No Kuni, Tales of Graces f and FFXIII-2. Let me know what you all are playing.

Most importantly, 5 MORE DAYS TILL E3!!! I'm super excited to see what games are lined up for announcements! Happy gaming everyone and I hope you all have a great weekend.

BEYOND!

I started playing World of Warcraft free trial. You can play unti level 20. I'm used to playing MMOs, but I find the early levels lacking any sort of challenge. I might commit to a sub and play through the whole thing, but I don't know. The Secret World added new content this week, and I was curious about Defiance MMO, since the show is starting up again this month. I might also give Witcher 2 another go, now that my gaming backlog is cleared up. I think 13-2 is a better game than Ni No Kuni and I've never played Tales games. Have fun. Cool

Congrats on clearing up your backlog. I doubt I will ever clear mine up unless I have all the time in the world. The only MMO I really played was Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. I've put in a good amount of hours, but only got to level 15 until I got bored of it. I actually got a free threee month subscription because my friend was done playing with his copy and he had an extra sub card so he just gave it to me. I think I only have a little more than a month left of the subscription. I guess you can say Defiance is an MMO as well. If so, then that's the MMO I played the most. I probably put about 50 hours into it.

Luckily I'm going to have both XIII-2 and Ni No Kuni so I won't have a dilemma with them. Hopefully I can get into the Tales series.

Yeah I played it on the 360. It was fun, but I got burnt out on it after putting in 40 hours. Maybe one day i'll go back to it.

I only did ten hours or so and got burnt out on it, it was definitely going to be more of the same....it might've left a deeper impression on me had there been more people playing.

Yeah I played it the first week of launch and there were so many people on. The only bad thing about the game is the fact that it takes so long to download all the patches. Now there's hardly anyone playing and the game would be better with friends.

I loved Tales of Graces F. I just finished the main story recently. Those games have so much content and for me none of it felt like a chore. I still have the ToG F future arc to do but I'm knee deep in Final Fantasy X right now.

I'm enjoying it so far. I haven't really done anything besides running around talking to citizens and fighting enemies, but then again I just started.

i'm curious about what bad things you've heard about Tales Of Graces F.

Some people didn't like the characters in the game and how the combat is. I think there are more fans of Xillia and Symphonia Chronicles. I'm just wondering if this is the first Tales game for the PS3. If so, I would want to go in order down the road.

The two Symphonia games are actually first since they are Gamecube and Wii games originally. Graces was actually a Wii game originally too but was never released on the Wii in NA. Xillia is the latest with Xillia 2 coming soon.

the Symphonia games are related but in general if a Tales games has a different name e.g. Destiny, Symphonia, Vesperia, Graces, Xillia, the stories are stand alone and don't need to be played in order.

Oh that's weird. You would think they would go i a certain order like the CoD, Mass Effect, Gears, GoW, Infamous, GTA series and more. But a friend of mine said each game has their own stories and I guess the combat differes from each of them. Well at least I know I can just pick any of them up in no specific order. Thanks mothman!

I'm finishing up Wolfenstein: New Order and then I pick up Enemy Front on E3 day. I'm also playing Lunar: Dragon Song on DS.

I still have to go back and finish Ni No Kuni. Kinda got frustrated with it but got fairly deep into it. Fun game.

I really enjoyed Wolfenstein. I haven't heard anything on Enemy Front. I actually had 10 hours in my last saved file, but i'm going to start a new game so I can learn all the controls and remember the story.

Enemy Front is a WWII shooter like the old Call of Duty games but based on events in Poland. It's by a Polish dev too. It's a $40 game and Stuart Black of Xbox game Black worked on it early on.

Gotcha. Watched a video on it. Doesn't interest me too much, but it looks like a rental to me. I'm pretty sure it'll be a good game though.

I will give a report of it next weekend when I get to it.
