Bought Luftrausers & Rainbow Moon

I remembered reading a review by Snee earlier in the year, wherein he scored Luftrausers a decent 3.5 stars.  Snee's got style, so I trust his reviews for sure.  And at 7 bucks for us non-Plus Philistines, I'd say it's a good score.

The other title I snapped up is Rainbow Moon.  I've read some really middling-to-negative reviews on Metacritic, but Lee swears by the title.  And for the low entry fee of 7 bucks, I'm happy to add another SRPG to the fold.  Sidenote:  I give a shit about Metacritic reviews, and will always take teh word of a community member over Metacritic.

Other than those two recent purchases, I've been playing a bunch of Dark Souls.  I'm currently trying to make my way through Blighttown...but I think I may farm souls, buy titanite, and upgrade/ascend my weapons and armor for Poison resistance, as well as go buy the obligatory Poisonbite Ring.  I've chosen the Valley Of The Drakes entrance as my first point of entry, foregoing the Depths entry point....though I'll eventually make my way there to grab the Shadow Armor.  I'll check the stats online, and if the poison resistance is in a sweet spot, I'll go sooner rather than later.

What are you playing??

I played some rainbow moon on the weekend. Only a bit but it was fun.

I'm still playing FF X. Got to Bevelle on the weekend and I'm about to enter the Cloister of Trials there.

did you ever play ff x when it was on ps2 by chance?  I didn't...and I wasn't able to get into it at all.  Good battle system though for sure.

Yep, I finished it on PS2. I spent 120 hours on it. loved every minute. My favourite part is using the sphere grid to grow your team in any direction you want. It's another game that requires a lot of attention.

Now that I've got the airship I'll be able to roam around and take on the side quests.

Rainbow moon isn't bad.  The graphics are great.

Luftrausers is a nice game, but I'm glad u got it at a discount.  Ten bucks is steep.  It's fun though, but very arcadey.

Gonna start Enemy Front this weekend. It's a WWII FPS set in Poland. Should be interesting. And I'm trying to get some time on DS with Lunar Dragon Song. So far this game doesn't tell you how to do anything. I can't even figure out how you level up in the game. I fight and fight and fight and all I get are huge bags full of monster parts which seem to be for some sort of crafting mechanic, but I end up just selling them because that seems to be the only way you earn cash. I don't know what's going on in this game.

I saw that Rainbow Moon game on sale awhile back, along with some sales on extra for the game. I need to look into that game to see if it's a F2P type of game or if it's mostly a microtransaction style mode of gameplay. Been finding myself getting into F2Ps on consoles as of late so I guess I should looki into this one.
