and boy oh boy am I glad I'm done.  LA Noire's not a bad game....but I can easily say that it's not a good game either.  Just about everything else with Rockstar's logo on it that I've ever played has been better.

The game felt like it was some sort of subliminal advertisement for the show Mad Men....Aaron Staton isn't the only Mad Men actor in the game...I recognized Kinsey, Pete, and a couple others.

Far more exciting is the prospect of what to play next.

I've no idea.

I'll probably go back and finish Dark Souls, being as I only started (and finished, rather quickly, and with 90% completion) LA Noire because I got cursed, lost half my HP and was too lazy to farm out a Purging Stone.

L.A. Noire was so talked about when it came out. Like it was some groundbreaking wonder. I haven't heard a peep about it since. I guess it was a mirage.

My problem is not what to play next, but how to manage all that I want to play next. Too many games!!!

They made a big deal out of the facial capture system they had...but honestly to me the interrogations were the weakest point of the game aside from having nearly no interactivity with the city itself.

In the end im a die-hard Californian,  so I felt a little bit obligated to see it through to the end. The characters ended up ultimately being very forgettable in spite of all Team Bondi invested in them.  This games a solid 6. Theres really not enough meat on the bone for anything better in my scoring opinion

I'd like to give it a run sometime.

I like the era of this game, and love movies like Chinatown and stuff... it is an ok game, but I didn't realize until after I quit it that you could set it up to drive automatically.

DId you play it in color or black and white?  I love old movies so I played in black and white.

I remember the hype surrounding this game, and I decided to wait. I eventually bought it but I still haven't played it. Too bad it isn't better because it sounded like it was supposed to be the big game when it was released.

I bought LA Noire a while back and still hadn't touched it.  I need to get on that game.

I wanted to get that game when it came out. But then I heard about it's rockstart pass (this was during my time when I stood clear of any online pass titles) and decided to wait and see on teh game. Found out tha twas a good thing given how they were releasing DLC for the game. Still trying to decide which version to get be it the xbox 360 or PS3 version. I'd like to have the version that has all the DLC on the disc or on A disc instead of an download voucher. One day I'll get around to researching that and make up my mind in a game buy.

if you can find Noire for around 5 bucks, you wont have wasted any dough, Sonic.
