You should be hearing from me shortly. I apologize for the delay in response, everything in my life is in flux right now, which is making it very hard to get anything done. I'm not intentionally ignoring your applications and I haven't thrown them away.

Bear with me for a little while longer and I'll be able to process them all. Also, the promised site features are still in flight, I've just been unable to program at home because I didn't get my computer until last night and it's still not set back up.

That's all I've got - thanks for your understanding everyone!

HOW DO I SHOT APPLICATION?!  No but in all seriousness, you guys are doing a killer job with this site, I'm loving it so far.  I'd love to write for you guys, I'll have to see if I can add one more to the stack - that is, if you're willing to have a column focused on sarcastic nihilistic reviews of retro games.

I'd apply to write for you guys if I had any insight to this current generation. Having not adopted any current-gen consoles, handhelds, or even having a game-ready PC, I'm afraid I can't write much up-to-date content for a site like this, but if you guys need a freelance editor or something, let me know. I'm pretty good at finding grammar and spelling mistakes, even if I try to be poilte and not point them out to bloggers that may not have the free time to check.

In any case, take your time. I agree with rangergirl, I think you get a pass on this one, and hey, not like I'll have applied any earlier than today if I do, so I'm not going to mind a wait. lol

I'm in a similar boat, but I'm hoping they'd be open to the idea of a retro column - considering the massive influx of 1UPpers such as myself - we have a pretty large retro community just in being here, so it might be a good move to have retro reviews, and offer complete coverage - past, present, and future.

If you need a Canadian correspondent let me know. I'll actually pay attention to my grammar and spelling if you so desire. LOL
