This is only mildy of interest to people who liked Lightning Returns or at least played it and saw the ending. So it is all in spoiler text...

From Kotaku, Japanese Famitsu magazine is releasing an epilogue to Final Fantasy XIII as a 3-part story called FFXIII Reminiscence. It centers around the "mystery of mutual "memories of another world" that seem to be shared by many people. " 

Lightning Returns Ending (SPOILER!)
At the end of Lightning Returns the world ends and all of the FF-XIII characters and souls travel through space to planet Earth. After the end game credits, a new cutscene appears which shows Lightning stepping off of a train while holding a suitcase and regular clothing and the camera pans away to reveal a suburban neighborhood, which kind of looks like a modern European town. 

 I think it's a cool idea. I wish we had an English translation though. Here's hoping.
