Gears is fun. Me and a friend were obsessed with GOW3 for a while playing Horde mode endlessly. I want to play Judgment sometime. 

Gears is a lot of fun, but I'm playing solo. I hear Judgement has the worst campaign, but has an awesome multiplayer.

The minute you put up a post you already turn me on to a game I swore I wasn't interested in GTA 5. Dammit! What are your thoughts on Witcher 2 by the way? I'm loving it so far. I'm at the end of Chapter 2 at the moment. I might read the novels. What do you think?

I loved The Witcher 2. It's pretty damn amazing. I haven't read the novels, but I read The Last Wish, which is the short story collection that started Geralt's tale. I freaking loved it. Extremely satirical look at fairy tales. It's pretty funny, dark, and awesome. If you liked tha game, you'll love it.

Cool! I got last wish on my ebook Reader! Any other game related books you'd recommend? 

Well the witcher is a book related game, so it's quality stands above the usual fare. Some of the Starcraft books are surprisingly decent, but outside of that I'm not aware of much. Oh and the Mass Effect books are supposed to be pretty awesome but I haven't read them.

I enjoyed the Gears games.  I played through all of them last year with my son.  He loves them.  We hadn't played the 4th game yet.  I should be able to get it cheap.  

I thought Catherine was great.  I hadn't played it in a while.  

I still need to get GTA5.  A friend offered to sell me his copy, because he's buying it again when it comes out on the XBO or PS4.  I doubt he'll bring his price low enough for my cheapass.  

I need to get my wife to stop playing on my 360.  She played through Dragon Age: Origins twice and she is currently on her 2nd playthrough of The Witcher 2.  When I meet the chick, she didn't play games at all and now she's hogging the consoles I want to play on. 

Yeah. I finished the first two a while ago and really liked them, but for some reason when I tried to play the third one I didn't like it. Then I tried to play first two again, fell in love again, and then really liked the third one. It was weird...

 Also, I know that feeling. Bilby keeps wanting to play GTA on my xbox, or play candy crush on my phone. SHE KEEPS TAKING MY GAMES! Fucking women, am I right?

I was into GTA V right until my kid walked in and saw Trevor doggystyling Johnny K's girlfriend...I still think its good, it just has no place around small children

GTA V has never been for kids haha. And much more depraved shit happens later, so definitely keep that one to yourself ;)

 On a side note, I do find it interesting that some people (not targeting you or anything btw) are fine with showing their kids violence, but not sex. It's like saying: "Hey, this wonderful thing that brought you into the world? It's fucking wrong. Go kill someone before you turn into a pervert."

It's pretty damn amazing. It's also fucking hard. I swear I'm dying in it more than I did in Dark Souls 2 lol. No one will judge you if you slip back to easy for some of the bosses haha.

I remember going to a friends house when the first GOW came out and playing it a bit. It was fun but super hard. I remember the hammer of dawn weapon a lot, the one that used sun light as beam lazer thing. That was a super cool gun.

I imagine it would be much easier with co-op. I want to play it with my girlfriend, but I forgot to bring a second controller to her house...

I really need to write an article for them too, I just haven't figured out how to put pictures in Squarespace and I like my shit to look polished.

I had similar feelings with Catherine. I absolutely binged it over the course of a weekend and it almost felt like I was playing around on my wife. Weird. Anyway, I really like it and hope to get around to playing it again someday. Interesting concept.

Nah, we play it together now. It amuses her. 

I'm still wondering why Rockstar hasn't brought GTA V to Steam (and RDR for that mather).

They are bringing it when they bring it to next gen consoles. They announced it at E3.

 And I'm still with Bilby. She's playing GTA V as we speak lol.
