Damn. It's been a while since I put up any blogs. My plan this year was to do a blog a month. That resolution is out on it's ass. It's been 3 months since my last blog and to be honest, not much is different from then.
Games I Beat:
Tales of Graces f (PS3)
I finished it a while back. It was pretty good. There was extra content to play through (events after the main story stuff), but I didn't finish it. I started playing it and just quit. I was ready to move on to something else.
Games I'm Playing:
Dragon Quest VI (DS)
I have almost 100 hrs in this game and I still hadn't beat it yet. I think I'm nearing the end, but who in hell knows. Why are DQ games so damn long? I'm determined to finish this game.
Dragon Age: Origins (360)
I started playing this again. I'm mainly playing to knock out a few more achievements.
Saints Row (360)
I started this game up over 3 years ago. I played it a bit only to get a feel of it and put it down. Now, I'm playing it again and I'm having fun. I'll probably finish it this time.
Games I Bought:
I've been picking up a couple games here & there during the sales I see popping up. Here are a few of them.
On the PS3, I bought a few digital games. I got Trine 2, Guacamelee, Fat Princess, Braid, Persona 4, and a few other games.
On the 3DS, I finally picked up Princess Code. I have a few bucks just laying around in my Nintendo account, so I may spend them on something soon. I have my eye on some games. I also have Nintendo points to spend. Still waiting on the right game to put them on.
On the Ouya, I got Fist of Awesome, Final Fantasy III, and a couple others.
Just recently, on PC, I purchased the Leisure Suit Larry games. I'll probably pick up some more games from the sale on GOG.com. Bullfrog Classics are calling my name.
On the 360, I just bought the digital copy of Lego Marvel Super Heroes. I'll probably start playing it soon. I really liked the demo. It's on sale on XBL for $14.99, so I was like, "what the hell", and bought it. I still plan to get a physical copy of the game. There are other Lego games on sale this week too.
Other Things:
I'm still reading the same comics. Naruto is good, but this "last" battle has wearing thin on my patience. It's been going on for so long. At least the author is tying on loose ends nicely. Serenity is still doing good. Saga is still awesome. The Witcher comic and Mass Effect comic are almost finished.
Big Trouble in Little Chine #1 is O.K. I'm not a big fan of the art and it's a little funny. I'll buy a few more to see where it goes.
Been watching the hell out of Seinfeld and Everybody loves Raymond lately. I finally saw the last episode of The IT Crowd. I'll miss that show. Of course, I'm watching Naruto Shippuden. Watching my favorite manga battles animated is just freaking awesome. I need to get around to watching the last few episodes of The Boondocks. The 4th season was o.k. The creator, Aaron McGruder, wasn't involved with the show this season. It wasn't bad. It just was a bit different. The last season was released on dvd already. I just pick up the 3rd season a couple weeks ago. I'll probably pick up the 4th when I see it for $10.
I'm still doing the podcasts with my friend. Been watching a ton of movies because of it. Watching a lot of old movies too. Over the weekend, I saw Deathrace 2000 and the Death Wish movies (1-5). Charles Bronson was no punk.
What are you guys playing, reading, or watching?

I finished Tomb Raider not long ago today, read a little of The Fault In Our Stars the other day, and watched lots of Netflix and Redbox lately.
Speaking of, The IT Crowd's first season was ok, but I didn't really like it until episode 2 of season 2. I'm currently on season 2 ep. 3.

I'm waiting to get Tomb Raider real cheap. I may get it during the holidays.
I thought season 1 was great. Episodes 2 and 6 of that season are classic. One of these days I'm pick up the series on dvd.

How cheap? It was $5 on Steam recently, and I got it under $10 a while back.

Sadly, I can't play the pc version. I'll have to get the PS3 or 360 version. I'll pick it up for sure if I see it under $10. I'm pretty sure I'll pick up the definitive version on the ps4 too one day down the road, but that may be many years away.

damn, all the Death wish movies in one weekend? That's hardcore.

Yes, it is. Before, I had only watched the 3rd movie and parts of the 1st. The first 2 movies are very hardcore. Poor Bronson can't get a break. They violently killed off almost every woman he loved in every movie.

you should complete the experience by watching all of Chuck Norris's MIA movies. :)

I still miss IT Crowd, that was THE show but it left on a high and that's okay. I haven't watched Sienfeld in sooo long, I wonder if i'll still like it?
I'll wait to see Boondocks s4 later as I know one of the dudes left (apparently he went nuts anyway).
I haven't been playing too many games, I haven't been "feeling it" lately. maybe Ultra SF4 will ignite my thumbs?
Apparently they're rebooting Predator.

I was getting a bit run down on games too. To pick myself up, I play something different or something I know I'll really enjoy. Now that I'm playing Lego Marvel and Saints Row, I'm back in the game.
Predator's coming back? I didn't know that. Last month, I watched Predator, Predator 2, and Predators over a weekend. All good movies. Predator is still my favorite.

Fist of Awesome. It's a "time-traveling-lumberjack -em-up". Love that term.
I wanted to love IT Crowd. It had Noel Redding from Mighty Boosh which I love. Something didn't quite click with me though.
Man I want to play some more Dragon Quest games. VIII was so great.

"The Mighty Boosh", I thought guy was familiar. I saw him on the Mighty Boosh!
I played DQ8, but I didn't beat it. It just kept going on and on and on. If I ever finish DQ6, I plan to start DQ5, but I think I'll take a break from DQ a bit by playing something else. Hopefully something I can finish in less than 100 hrs.

Richard Ayoade as Maurice was also in certain episodes of Mighty Boosh.
I never finished DQ8. I got to almost 100 hours before fatigue set in. 100 hours is my limit on almost any game before I get the itch to play something else.

Moss was on a few episodes of Mighty Boosh too. It's been a while since I saw that show.
I hope I can finish DQ6 soon. I'm reaching my limit.

Yea, Maurice Moss. Ever see Bunny and the Bull? It's a film that has both main guys from Might Boosh as side characters and the whole movie is kinda surreal like Mighty Boosh. The Mighty Boosh is like one of my favorite shows. I could rewatch it over and over.

Graces f is a good game. Probably my favorite game of '12. I pre-ordered DQVI when it came out and got the free slime plushie. I have Code of Princess on 3DS that I bought when it was on sale. Good game that plays like Guardian Heroes. I think the same people made it.
I bought LSL on my iPad because it was like three dollars. Generally I don't like gaming on touch screens but since the game is a point-and-click it's a little more bearable, although I think it's still easier to maneuver with a mouse. I played the original version LSL and the Land of the Lounge Lizards when I was 17.

I got a free slime plushie too with a Dragon Quest pre-order. I think I got mine with DQ9. I'm still barely moving forward in DQ6. I got to a new area that takes away all my hp and mp. I really hope I'm close to the end of the game. I would to start Code of Princess next.

Ohh Naruto, long time I haven't seen an episode of it. I remember being a fan of it in my pre-teen/early teenager years.

Naruto has been around so long. Where did the time go? I put almost a decade of my life into the series. I have to see how it ends. There's no way they can stretch it out much longer. It has to end this year or during the 1Q of the next.

That's quite a bit of stuff! Doesn't look like we have any overlap this time though. I finally saw the LEGO Movie the other day. That was really good!

I saw the Lego Movie about a week ago. I thought it was pretty good, but I didn't like the live action part at the end. I got too touchy feely in that area. I just wanted to have a fun time and not think about emotions or other people's feelings.

Yeah, that was a little odd but I did think it was a cool way to tie it all together. Not that it needed to be tied together lol. I could just go for crazy LEGO action

Hey Saints Row! I need to jump back into that game.
AND THERE'S A BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA COMIC?! Loved the movie, and if there is a comic, I'm hitting up the local Comic Store again.

I'm not sure how long it's been since I last played Mass Effect. I thought about it the other day and thought, "I hadn't played Mass Effect".
I didn't know anything about Trine before buying it. I would like to get the first game too. Waiting for that sale.
