PSN this week sees the release of Atelier Rorona Plus but the confusing listing could lead you into buying something you have no use for.

The Vita version was released some time ago but now there's a PS3 version of the enhanced first game in the Arland trilogy.

However looking at the listings there's a PS3 version for $49.99 and what looks like a PS3/Vita bundle for $39.99 except I don't think it is. The PS3 /Vita listing has the size at 2.9 GB and the PS3 listing is 4.6 GB. I suspect that the less expensive version is just the Vita game.

I'd let someone else discover the fuck up rather than buying a game for a Vita you don't own.

There's also a new Vita/PSP RPG called End of Serenity. Before you pay 15 bucks for this, it's already available on both Android and iOS as End of Aspiration ($4.00) and is a  year or so old.

damn dude, these posts are getting quite educational.  It's a good thing because PSN can be full of traps and other bullshit.

I downloaded Valiant HEarts.  Couldn't resist.

I swear Sony is trying to confuse people with the way they sell their digital games for the PS3 and Vita.

Yeah, I saw the PS3/Vita one for $39.99 and thought that's not bad and then I started reading the details and thought wait a minute this doesn't sound right.

So far this week's summer sale is doing nothing for me. but I'll hold onto my last $20 just in case I need to buy a PSN card next week.

I already have Atelier Rorona from 2010, so I don't know if I need a "plus" version of this game, even though I liked the original. Also, I'm working my way through the Dusk series now. Just got Atelier Ayesha, planning on picking up Atelier Escha and Logy. I gotta hand it to Gust, they've really been making Atelier a better series with every iteration. E and L is supposed to be quite good.

I picked up Ayesha a few months ago and got Escha and Logy on a PSN sale. I'll probably pick up Rorona Plus to get a start on the Arland trilogy but I'll wait a bit. I have a Rainbow Moon addiction at the moment. :)

I've never played any of the Atelier games or really been interested in them but I read a great review of Rorona Plus on USGamer and I am intrigued. I might get the Vita version if I find a good deal on it.

I've only played the first one all the way through but I loved it. I actually want to get back into them but I sold the other two PS2 games before playing them. Dumb I know but I needed the money.
