I liked the Mako sections because I could land on so many planets and tool around on them. Yea, there's not much to do there, but I still thought it was cool. The views were pretty awesome and I posted a bunch of them on 1UP just before the end. . . Damn, I think one of my last posts was about this but I can't open 1UP right now. Either they're down temporarily, or down for good. I'm going to try tomorrow to see if it's still there.

Though the Mako isnt to my liking the rest of it is alright. I may be in the minority but I think I like ME2 better

I still have to play that. Most people do think 2 is the best of the series.

Im right there with them. I loved 2, was my favorite game for a long time

Mass Effect 1 is really great. It has it's problems like the janky combat, and some hate the Mako sections, but I think they sould be overlooked and just enjoy the story and characters. One of my favorite games. I think it's better in many ways than Mass Effect 2, but that's just my opinion.

Thats what im gonna do...only use it when I have to.  I hope its not a lot.

I actually like the Mako sections, though they're not without their frustrations.  They did take em out of the others if u want to skip forward. 

Ive played thru the other two...just playing  ME to complete the trilogy, really.  It feels a bit jankier than the other 2.

it definitely is, but it's the first game.  I love them all, but they're all different and each has its positives and negatives. 

Best thing they did was get rid of the Mako I hated thoughs levels 2 and 3 were way better. =-)

Agreed. The Mako isnt fun

Sometimes I wish I did not have a desk job. Averaging less than 5,000 steps a day despite otherwise being in excellent health is weird. Granted, it's a part-time job, so it's totally my fault, but still. 

A desk job would be nice. But im a Machinist :)

I can't get into Mass Effect. I tried a bit of the original, lost interest and haven't picked it up since. I should really give it another chance.

I'm the same way with the first Mass Effect game wehn it came to the mako. When I ended up clipping that damned machine in the environement I stopped playing. I haven't touched it since.
