Holy shit, there's a Korra game being made by Platinum Games?! That's fucking AWESOME!!
Watch Dogs with SweetFX and TheWorse's

The reason why I have emphasised mod is because it implies that a modder added textures or tweeks to a game. TheWorse just unlocked hidden files from PC version of Watch Dogs and enabled them for anybody that would like to use them. Granted they have the processing power to get those graphics seen two years ago at E3. With SweetFX, it changes the shading quality of the game and from my experience does make the game look nicer.
Observe.
There are whole lot more at my tumbler page at 1920X1080 here and here, if you want to see more comparisons.
However I tried using Sweet Fx with Skyrim and that was huge headache; I couldn't get it set up properly. Half the screen was darken and it was very difficult to wrap my head around what happend. Unfortunately, Skyrim's game engine doesn't like SweetFX that much and prefers ENB presets instead; so I gave up on the whole thing. At least it worked with Bioshock Infinite as seen here.
In other news, I gave in even more to Steam's Summer Sale and bought some more games that I may or may not play.
- Bioshock Infinite and it's seasons pass
- Brutal Legend
- Final Fantasy VIII
- Saint's Row franchise bundle (2 to 4 with all DLCs included)
- Tomb Raider and Tomb Raider Anniversary
- Far Cry 3 (main game)
- Blockland (yeah sounds like a Minecraft clone)
Finally, how about Platinum Games (Bayonetta, Vanquish and Metal Gear Rising) making a "The Legend of Korra" game for Activision. That was certainly out of left field when I saw the news this morning. My 8year old niece loves The Legend of Korra and hearing this made her day; although I'm wondering how if it will be user friendly considering how chaotic and not for the faint of heart that Platinum Games are. At the same time it will nice to get video game treatment of the cartoon series from a very capable studio. The game is slated for a fall reason on all the major consoles including the PC, except the WiiU.
