So I was browsing rottentomatoes to see what movies are coming out next month that are on my need-to-see-in-theaters list and discovered this

It looks good and I'm surprised but happy to see Zach Braff involved, plus Sean Astin narrating and Hideo Kojima and Cliff Bezinski are in it? Sounds cool to me. Doubt I'll be able to see it in theaters, but it's on my want-to-see list for sure, along with the Roger Ebert doc I just found out about called Life Itself, which releases the same month.

huh.  that might be interesting.  Don't really feel the need to see documentaries in the theater though.

I wish I had seen Noah and Budapest Hotel in the theater...

Yeah, I don't either, which is why it's on my want-to-see list, but the fact I probably won't catch the theatrical release doesn't bother me.

I'd like to see Budapest, but I've heard mixed things about Noah.

Nice.  I really hope it's as good as it looks.

Me too. Hoping it gets to Netflix in the not-too-distant future.

Looks interesting.  Doubt it'll be in the mainstream theaters.  Maybe at the Angelika.  If I were still in college in Austin, I bet they'd show it somewhere there.

Yeah, that's why I doubt I see it until DVD. Fine with that, no point in seeing docs in theaters to me really.

I'm kinda undecided about full virtual reality games. I'm not sure I really want so much immersion. I also don't want to "live the dream you've always wanted to live", as Cliffy B says. I'll do that in real life thanks. I would like to use VR to experience things different from reality though. That could be neat. It could also be cool to let you experience a place like Mars via rover cameras. That would be rad.

I doubt full VR will ever replace real life. For one thing, I'm sure they'll both give me headaches anyway, but real life has aspirin that actually wants to work sometimes.

I read this scifi story that said, in the future, people would prefer virtual reality to real life. That idea kinda scares me a bit.

There are people who are basically there now.

I know, right? I wonder that sometimes about myself. Am I getting too into VR?

Wowsers. Zach Braff is a bit of a dick in real life though... plus every season of scrubs after season 4.

 Still... This looks super interesting.

Didn't know about his dickishness.

Watching the rest of what happened in his episode of punk'd... He chased down a young teenager and beat the crap out of him. Granted, he did think he spray painted his car, but the kid was quite young.

I never heard of it either but Cliff Blesinski is in it, considering that he has verbal diarrhea; it kind of makes me not want to watch it.

This is something I'd watch. Normally I wouldn't check out any Zack Braff stuff (I used to like Scrubs) but when I can find a copy of this doc I'd give it a watch.

What did Zack Braff do to make you not like Scrubs any more, or did I misread that?

He didn't do anything to make not like Scrubs, I just got tired of it. I went through a phase where I would always watch it, and then lost interest. I did see some stuff about him being a jerk with some of his actions including that episode of Punk'd but I just assumed that he's being like every other celeb.
