enjoy your long weekend! Kemco is a pretty popular RPG maker... they make like a gazillion games ported to mobile. I hear you on the touch controls. That shit is annoying as hell. Still, mobile is a good place for JRPG's. Eventually touch screens will be a lot better.

On the PSN new release list this week was a PSP/Vita RPG called End of Serenity from Kemco. I mentioned is in an earlier blog.
.
I'm not 100% sure but it appears to be a port of a game already out on Android and iOS that goes by the name of RPG End of Aspiration.
if you are curious and have a compatible Android device you can play it for free if you don't mind ads or $3.99 for a clean version.
Yesterday I took the plunge and picked it up for my S4. It's no secret that I'm an RPG fan plus the Android download had two other things going for it. No exchange penalty for Canadian pricing and no 13% tax so I get to raise my middle finger to the greedy fucks in Ottawa. What's not to love.
I started playing it last night and it seems like a fun 16 bit style Turn Based RPG. My only annoyance so far has been the touch controls which are just as annoying as I knew they would be.Getting your character right in front of a door to go through takes some getting used to as does opening chests.
I don't have much history with Kemco games other than Top Gear and Shadowgate 64 Trial of the Four Towers. Yes I played Shadowgate 64, You gotta problem with that?
Well I'll be checking this out presently and will report back with impressions.
In other news I'm close to having my whole team in Rainbow moon and the battles are getting a little harder to win but are still fairly easy for the seasoned player.
I started Okami HD last night and I still love everything about it except for the gibberish voices.
Well, I'm off to enjoy my long weekend. Tuesday is a holiday up here in the great white north so I took Monday off to give me a four day weekend. Let's see if I can get some gaming in. :)
