I've been trying to complete all achievements/trophies on my recent games as long as it's not so brutal I don't enjoy it. It's a way of getting the most out of a game. It also keeps me from buying too many games. Good luck on your trophy hunt. I was just thinking this afternoon that trophies are pretty cool. I mean, when I get a complete set of achievements, I don't get anything special. Just a number. A platinum trophy for that, or something like it, would be a nice way to say that I finished all the challenges in a game on 360.

2014. 2+0+1+4=7 aka my year
So it's already the end of june and the begining of july, I am glad since june wasn't really that good to me. I just hope july get's better. Anyway with july and summer already starting, I can finally use this image:

It was a running gag I did back at 1up. And with the begining of summer, I have officially dubbed this year The Year of N. What does this mean? Well it means I'm going to try and posting more often, have opinion pieces, top whatever lists, looking back at games and stuff I used to like and more. I have even set up a youtube channel for stuff. I mostly have it set up for Mario Kart 8's MKTV thingy but we'll see how that turns out, I eventually want to move into Let's Plays at some point but later on since I don't have the equipment necessary for that. I will for the time being post reviews there on stuff I have and do top lists in video form like in text form. I'm also planning on reviving a challenge I took upon myself back at 1up years ago. I want to see if my opinions have changed since then because they have on some topics.
I also joined a Pokemon Art Collaboration project on twitter where I have to submit one original art pice of a human character from the Pokemon games due in October. The list of characters was a first come, first serve thing so all the good ones where taken. I did take one that will be interesting to make an art piece of. I'm also working on a piece of art that I hope to submit to Teefury at some point, it's in the sketch phase so far so there are a few things to work out on paper before it goes to the final colored phase. I'll keep you updated if I do decide to submit it and hopefully it gets turned into a real shirt.

I finally got all the 3 stars in all the Grand Prix modes in Mario Kart 8, yes even in Mirror mode. It wasn't that hard but felt rewarding. Now I'm racing the staff ghosts and beating them. So far I've beaten 19 of them without the 3 mushrooms and using standard parts. I'm also trying to get the Golden Kart parts, so far I only have the kart body, to get the last 2 pieces I need to have 10,000 coins collected, and to beat all the staff ghosts. The staff ghosts are easy so far so one of the parts isn't too far off, it's the coin count that has me confused. There really isn't a way to check how many coins you've collected, the only way to do so is that it tells you how much you have when you unlock a new part but I have them all. I guess I'll know once it pops up. Also, if anyone wants to race me, give me a shout, but I'm warning you, I'm really good at the game.
I'm also planning on getting the platinum trophies for Brutal Legend, Fallout 3, Burnout Paradise, NFS: Most Wanted, and Borderlands. They are games I really enjoyed as it's to why I want to platinum the games. I only got for the platinum trophy on games I really enjoyed, plus I have the trophy percent over 50 so it shouldn't be too hard. I will need help on NFS and Burnout so if you want to help out, let me know.
I wont blog every single day, cause I'm also working on something else with my brothers, so I'll try to be consistant with my posts here. And maybe youtube videos. I guess that's all for now, thanks for reading and later.
