So, hi again ^^"
It's been what... Actually, let's not think about how long it's been between blog posts
Probably like six months, give or take a bit. Sorry x.x"
And the last one definitely wasn't anything memorable... So. Let's try and update you on what has or hasn't been happening in my life in that time (it's appalling little, I'm so sorry for how brief yet boring this will be x3) It's more to convince you that I actually still exist, and Blake doesn't have me locked up in his basement / I was purely a figment of his imagination. In which case, my typing this disproves nothing! Nothing I say!
(Is it weird how I pick up other people's typing habits? That's weird right? x.x")
Least all the emoticons is purely me lol. I severely overuse these still. Probably more so than before...
Anyways. My life in the last c.3-6 months...
1. Lost my job.
So, that awesome job I had that paid my bills, let me rent a place on my own and live near Blake, my university & my friends and social life? Yeah, that fell through. Probably my fault okay probably definitely entirely my fault but first real, full-time, holy-shit-this-is-important-and-grown-up-and-shit-type job. Also, it's really hard to type like that
I lasted five months at it anyway. Longer than some people said I would xD
2. Back to living with family
So that's un-fun. Particularly since it means I communicate with people I like by computer, text or... Actually, that's it. And I'm now... 6 hours by car / 2 hours by bus + overnight at home + another 4-5 hours by bus away from Blake, as opposed to 3 hours by car / 3 hours by bus + an hour by car. Could be worse, there was talk of Tasmania. That shit's an island. And cold. No thanks... There's one friend in town who I really should catch up with, but Idk why I haven'tpossibly intimidated a bit because she finished her degree in October, and I'm years away form finishing mine. (Blake, I know you know, so shut up >.>") She's honestly the sweetest, nicest, person anyone has ever met in the history of ever who I've known since preschool (and is probably the re-incarnation of Mother Teresa, I kid you not) but the knowledge that family and friends will compare us and find me lacking does make me a little reluctant to spend time with her basically, I'm just a bad, envious, useless person xD
3. Back to studying
And the sudden realisation that when you take a two year break from Chemistry and then jump back into it in the middle of the year you don't remember shit. Cue me watching a lot of "Crash Course In Redox Reactions!" style videos on youtube x3 Hopefully once I can beat this knowledge back into my skull I'll be fine, but atm it's rather like taking a rusty nail and using a brick wall for the anvil x.o
4. I haven't drawn in over a YEAR.
And that's not good. Tried a few squiggles the other day and they were awful.
5. I've become addicted to Mass Effect.
So, I'm been severely behind the rest of you in realising how great Mass Effect is. Got my hands on ME2 & ME3, played them through loved it (apart from that ending). Love Joker. Love EDI. Love Tali and Garus and Jack and everyone... Surprising liked James. The whole design of James as a big, tough, military-style brute set me up to dislike him, Surprisingly, he grew on me. A lot. Pretty sure my next FemShep playthrough will need to romance him x3 Kaiden can still go die in a hole though. Asshole. He tried ot shoot me because I didn't visit him in hospital!
6. The left mouse button on my laptop is broken.
That isn't that big a deal, considering that my whole entire laptop is pretty well broken, to the point where if you poke it funny or don't set it down on the table very very carefully, it will freeze up, die, reboot, freeze up, die, reboot, freeze up... repeatedly. Which is fun. But it's still usable, if you're careful.
The real problem with my mouse being broken is I can't play more Mass Effect because of it!
7. I'm getting a new laptop
YAY.
8. To tide me over til then, I have a 3DS (Which Blake bought for my birthday because he's the best, and really shouldn'tve. Really. That was probably money meant for college fees)
And Fire Emblem. And Pokemon X. Because I love shiny hunting, and you can't make me grow up x3
9. My life is absurdly boring, and this list is absurdly short/overly long (depending on your perspective)
For a worringly accurate look at what my day-to-day life is sometimes like, this site is pretty good - http://garfieldminusgarfield.net/
What it says on the tin. You take Garfield out of the Garfield comics, and Jon is just a lonely, crazy guy. I'm not quite that bad, but... Idk. Judge for yourself x3 (I have yet to run around screaming "LADYBUGS!" but some days, I wouldn't be far off x3) I need to get myself a cat >.>
...
So yeah. My life is boring as batshit, and I really need to get another job, because being broke sucks, but I'm terrified ot fail my units again either. So now you're caught up. Tell me you guys have had a more exciting time than me, please? xD
