Xcom enemy unknown was a game I jumped on and even got the strategy guide which I never do, I knew I was getting before it released why?? cause Xcom ufo defense force was one bad a%# game and like alot of people I was very cautious on whether or not Firaxis could pull it off after all thoughs are some big shoes to fill, and let me tell you they pulled it off with flying colors, if theres one game I could get you to get it would be this one.

 

Actually the only faults I could find in this game would be some clipping issues but nothing to bad and also the fact I wish firaxis would have put in random generated maps,but that aside thats it nothing else I could find wrong, now for the good news this is one addicting game, Xcom enemy unknown was released Oct 9th 2012. It blends strategic base managment ith turn base strategy,you manage your base which unlike xcom ufo defense force is one base and you can pick between six countrys to start in to where ufo defense let you put your base where ever you wanted it,but anyway you manage your troops upgrade armor technology p, another cool feature is you can fully customize your troops and change there armor color etc,there hair,size actually this game has one of the best character create I have ever seen in a console game.

The game draws you in and makes you care about your squad you get a kinda personal attachment to them, so you really care if they live or die,and if your playing iron man mode its one shot no saves or replaying a mission, you loose a troop he or she is gone forever which is the best way to play this game. The missions are very versatile and they mix them up well one game mission may have you saving a certain amount of civillians or escorting or rescuing a scientist, or they may simply have you get all the aliens, so back to the base management, you have to place ships at differnt locations to be able to intercept in coming aliens,so every month you get a alloted amount of funds that you must allowcate how you see fit so it adds another amount of gameplay to an already great game.the turn based srpg is awesome and yes it is a turn based rpg and after your turn it goes into an realtime mode and you can set your troopsnin overwatch mode and if someone or something walks into your feild of visions they will open up on the intruder which adds another strategy element to the game. So at any rate Xcom enemy unknown is the best srpg on the 360 bar none and a must for any strategy fan, the graphics are not revolutionary but not bad by any means, the gameplay is top notch easily the best game of the year in my opinion, the voice acting was done great to, but you can not go wrong with this game and will be a game you will be addicted to for many many hours.
