I am wondering with the MCC. Or the Master Chief Collection if we're going to a see a resurrengence in Halo 1, 2 and 3.

Because let's face it. Due to the fucking AGL fiasco Halo is not competitive anymore.

Or is it?

With pockets of pure hardcore underground Halo 1 thrives. So does 2 I think . Three is of course on Xbox Live. My time with Halo 3 was the best. And today I made sure that I'd play it more and more.

Halo 3 is a fantastic Halo game. Sure, it doesn't have the maps Halo 1 does and no glitches really but it has tight gunplay.That's all you need.

And as I write this I was invited to a Halo 3 or Halo 2 LAN in my hometown. Well, it is a drive and a half but should be worth it.

The question is can the MCC collection sink its proverbial claws back into the old crowd. Or has 343 lost its was with Halo 4. Because frankly I am skeptical as all fuck about Halo 5's multiplayer.

I am a cynic.

well, I'm sure that the multiplayer for those HAlo games will be popular again, but which one will be most popular. Having three games there will kind of splinter the audience and you will have people playing 1, 2, 3, etc. instead of one game. I personally really enjoyed 2.

From what I've seen it's all unified, not splintered. All the campaigns and multiplayer stuff is all in a unified interface and you can switch between things on the fly and make playlists mixing and matching your favorite things from each game if you want to. Everything about it sounds amazing so far. Each Halo game is a mixed bag in terms of campaign level design so it's nice that you can pick and choose your favorite things from each and just play those if you like.

I sure hope Halo 3's MP sees an influx of fresh blood with the MCC. I'd play it occasionally, if I had the console to do so.

There's no denying the MCC is a good value.

I hated Halo 4.

I wish I could get Halo 2 Anniversary for Xbox 360. Do I really have to buy all the Halo games again just to get the remaster of Halo 2? Oh yeah, and a Xbox One?
