Donkey Kong Bongos!

I take my wife to yard sales every Saturday. It being the first weekend of the new month there were a lot of them. I usually find nothing but today I lucked out

Donkey Kong Junglebeat Bundle, game with bongos..$3.00!

Box included. All looks to be in good shape.

Max Payne $5.00. I felt this was too high, I feel like it was only worth $2.00 but I wanted it so I paid the asking price.

Im glad I have my new pain pills from my Dr. I feel like Im gonna need them after beating on the bongos for a whole game! hahahahah

Coincidentally, you use pain pills to heal in Max Payne. I always thought that was hilarious for some reason. I don't know about the PS2 version, but Max Payne on PC was great. It gets repetitive after awhile though.

I think I have Junge Beat. I bought some bongos years ago. I have 3. I paid $10 each for them. If I saw another set for $3, I would of bought them.

$5 isn't too bad for Max Payne. I agree with you that it's too much, but you could do worse for $5.

I need to start hitting garage sales again.

James, I'm anxious to try them out but too lazy to hook up my GC. I have a vacation coming up the last week of august, I think I'll hook it up then and play it while Im home alone. Yeah, a used GH copy of MP should only be $2.00 but its the only copy I've seen forever so I paid the $5

Donkey Kong Jungle Beat is a fantastic game if you get a chance to play it. Very creative.

I think i've heard the PS2 version of Max Payne has certain performance problems that are not on the PC and Xbox versions. Oh well, you can always confirm us about that.

Love it when I find finds like that at garage sales. it's always my wish to find a rare system during one of those outings. Have fun banging on those bongos like a chimpanzee!

Yard Sales! That's the one thing that sucks around here. I'm envious of you folks who can find such crazy good deals at yard sales. My neighborhood tried having a yard sale day and there really wasn't anything good.

Shame you couldn't talk down Max Payne, but if it's a game you wanted and couldn't find, it's not a bad pickup.
