Chrono Trigger is a very popular soundtrack to remix but most artists turn out to be some chap (or whatever the female equivalent of a chap is) sitting at home, remixing on his computer. Select Start, however, is some sort of acoustical band or something. This remix complements Mitsuda's natural Celtic leanings. The one real downside to this one is that it's very short, but it's a great romp while it lasts. Should get you in the spirit to go visit a Renaissance festival

I love the lighthearted and bouncy feeling Celtic/Irish music has. Their depressing music is amazing too, which makes sense. That much rain and alcohol should have produced a lot more alternative rock artists than it did. Don't get me wrong though, I do like U2 and The Cranberries.

I believe the female chap is referred to as a chappette. At least, that's what I'm going with. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles taught me dudette is the female form of dude, so I would assume the same rule applies to other monosyllabic male words.

Frog (Glen) was one of the best knight characters ever. His long standing rivalry with Magus was epic to say the least.

Great song. I can imagine this being played over a round of Age of Empires 2 while using the Celts as a main civilization.

Love this one! It's simple, but brings out Frog's amazing theme perfectly. Frog is an awesome character, not just in Chrono Trigger, but in general. He's short and old-fashioned, but dangerous to the max.

I could've sworn I heard this song back in the day when I was looking for Chrono Trigger remixes. This one didn't do it for me given how I'm so used to the idea of the song being brassy and heroic, not light and flutey.

Like Castlevania being heavy metal and not jazzy.......mmmmmmmmmmmm castlevania.......

Hmm, these sound like musical ruts lol

I've been listening to VGMpire, a game music podcast, and there are four episodes covering Castlevania. I've listened to three of them so far and now I want to play one of those games soooo bad.
