8am to noon office hours, then preparing for first class meeting at 1pm, figuring out training schedules and such til about 3pm, took lunch, went to meeting at new side job for newspaper, now back home and have assignments due at the end of the week. Training starts tomorrow. Luckily, easier schedule than usual and classes are online.
How was your day?
Surprise, surprise, I reviewed games for my college newspaper. Austin is a pretty big live music town, so there was always a big music section in the newspaper. It was called "Sound Bites." I came up with the title for my game reviews under it. It was called "Game Bytes." I liked it better than the Dallas Morning News game section called "Electronic Adventures."
I asked my friend who's now getting his kinesiology doctorate if I eat only one meal a day, what should it be? I was surprised at first that he said dinner, but it makes sense. If you only eat breakfast, then you get tired later on in the day, while if you only eat dinner your body will still be breaking stuff down and giving you energy the next day until dinner.
He wasn't saying not to eat breakfast, but he definitely seemed to think it wasn't the be-all-end-all we hype it up to be. It's really more about healthily snacking throughout the day. Which I also didn't do while on his diet and exercise plan and still saw results, so ... I guess at my age just hitting the right numbers for your food nutrients and doing the exercises is all that really matters. Not so much what time of day you eat.
